  1. As above, love my cm009, the mosfet is a worthwhile addition for a little extra initial outlay
  2. Why is the image size limit so small for posting on the forum. Using a current smart phone my pictures are too large to post now
  3. Always liked this one, though I have had to drastically crop it to get around the max file size for posting
  4. That's pretty much the correct military way to store an AR 15. You can't safety an m4 unless the gun has been charged. You would normally make sure gun was safe, mag out, empty chamber etc etc, send the bolt forward and fire off the action in semi. Then store it that way.
  5. Wait... So all this time I just needed to strap the battery outside my gun to upgrade it? So glad to have stumbled across that secret
  6. Sadly not worth anywhere near that IMO. Probably due to DCAs high initial retail price, and another case of the Tier 1 Upgrade charge mostly being a labour cost, which can't be passed onto the second hand buyer.
  7. Couple of questionable prices here First up, polymer or metal, even if the metal one, seems a bit pricey for used and with a fucked stock. Owning one of those stocks, it would take some considerable force to crack it like that, makes me wonder how the guns been treated edit : just noticed the missing screw from the handguard, and the forward assist looks a bit off to me. And I didn't originally mention the red barrel And for more than new, a used gun.. But its upgraded Mr (only a different hop unit and inner barrel from the write up)
  8. If so, do they have the front wiring extension still knocking about that I could persuade them to part with? I know I should post a wanted ad, but thought it may be easier to just ask in here than try and come up with a wanted ad that catches the eye for some wires lol
  9. +1 on the Halfords camo. I also sometimes use the Humbrol Matt Acrylic sprays.
  10. Yeah my Romeo 4 is pretty good, and I wondered if it was an out of the warehouse job on a Friday afternoon
  11. Improved them since I got mine then, or possibly just a result of the mixed quality lottery of buying off aliexpress haha
  12. That's my S65 charger and leads arrived today. Excellent considering I ordered it at 2pm yesterday from Modelsport Have already switched the +ve and - ve on the mini tamiya lead @Speedbird_666 And a new lipo bag for charging and storage as my batteries are adding up and want to spread them out a bit
  13. What's your opinion on the clone Romeo 3. I got one a couple of years ago, and none of the wind age and elevation adjusters work, but tbh I can just point shoot and walk the aeg BBs onto target.
  14. Yeah, have been looking at that already, trying to find a biro refill that fits lol
  15. A Skyrc S65 charger and some deans and mini tamiya adapter leads.
  16. Thanks. I have just heard so many people mention that RC polarity is reverse to that of airsoft. As all these chargers seem to be aimed at RC users I thought there would be an issue. Overthinking it I guess. Thanks for explaining it so well ?
  17. How does that work? Surely the positive on the xt30 has to be soldered to the deans plug to make sure it connects to the positive on the battery? I cannot find any ready made connectors which state they are soldered correctly for airsoft batteries.
  18. Nice. Where did you get the xt60 to Dean's connectors? Been looking at getting a SkyRc S65 but woukd need some to make sure the polarity was correct for the airsoft batteries.
  19. I think it's always been like that. Only parcel force method accepted is 48 hour express at a post office counter, can send them royal mail 1st class. I think the problem you may have, is that it doesn't offer enough cover in the event of loss etc so rarely gets used. As a consequence, I doubt Royal Mail staff know enough about IFs, RIFs, airsoft etc, and stuff is likely to be seized/destroyed because of that lack of knowledge. I personally wouldn't chance it on purpose, but technically its allowed - according to that
  20. Really? It's the royal mail prohibited items leaflet Found on this page, and a tick means it's OK to send in the mail https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/96/~/prohibited-and-restricted-items---advice-for-personal-customers The Parcelforce one is here: https://www.parcelforce.com/help-and-advice/sending/prohibitions-and-restrictions
  21. My reading of there prohibited items list is that you should be ok
  22. Never considered that one. Just roll pin out and then the button followed by spring?
  23. Pull the charging handle and let it go, does it do the ringing noise? If so, try putting grease on the spring for the charging handle. It was this on my G&G guns that made the ringing noise.
  24. Ah cool. I have looked at the s65 before and it does sort of state it doesn't charge 1 cell lipos as it doesn't list them under the lipos it states it does charge. So good to know it will charge them
