Price drop, now £110! An old airsoft classic here. Has had its fair share of use, but was fully serviced a year or two back and not used since then. Works best with 11.1V LiPos. Much harder to find these now than they used to be. Comes with the sling photographed. Looking for £150 plus postage

  2. Not sure the S&T is so much better regarded that the Ares, than it is preferred due to its much lower price. I own both and i must say that the Ares is one of the most realistic feeling and expertly finished airsoft replicas i own. If you want a high quality replica, you have to pay for it. And even that said, its very good value for money considering real No4 rifles and especially the No4T are in the thousands. I like the S&T allot, especially for its price (i got mine for £299) but it doesn't hold a candle to the finish of the Ares.
  3. Just seen this. Was expecting S&T to put this out for some time. Interesting to see how it compares to the Ares No4.
  4. From King Arms FB page. FAL and SLRs on the wall. Will this finally be the year? Probably not from experience, but who knows....
  5. Yeah true, but now that I know, I’d rather do the maintenance myself tbh. Exactly my thoughts. What propane and adaptor do you use for this? Want to make sure I’m doing the right thing.
  6. Agreed. This seems to be a common misconception, that o rings expand upon greasing/oiling, when in reality all that is doing is filling the gaps.
  7. Watch the full vid above for gas mag maintenance. It’s pretty simple once you know what to do.
  8. Exactly. And it really makes sense the more you think about it. Venting gas oil, all over the parts of your gun which don’t need it just seems stupid, when you can specifically lubricate/maintain the parts which do, and leave the gas just as a clean, dry, propellant.
  9. Watch from 7:30 for why dry gas is better than silicone gas. The ultimate point is all the same, regardless of where it’s used, silicone is bad.
  10. General consensus I'm seeing is that its bad. Spraying silicone all over the working parts of the gun, and most notably on the hop up and barrel assembly, is unwise, and will affect performance. Especially when all it takes is a quick grease on the parts that need it and you are good to go. Fyi the more reading i do the more i see how bad silicone oil in general is compared to grease. Watch this from 03:07 in for more on this.
  11. Been getting a bit more into GBB lately, and only really just discovered that the silicone in most airsoft gas is terrible for your guns long term, and all you need to do is a bit of greasing every now and then on the internals instead. Problem is i cant seem to find any non silicone "dry" gas in the UK. Abbey is the only one i can see which doesn't use silicone, but they still put some lubricant in it. People seem conflicted on weather ASG is dry or not, and others say its terrible gas anyway. Swiss Arms 130 seems like the best option but this doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the UK. Other option is just to use pure propane with an adaptor, but I'm not too sure about that. Thoughts on this please, as I'm feeling a bit lost. Used Nuprol gas for years and never gave it a second thought, but this has opened up a can of worms in my head lol.

Bit of an impulse buy this one was after briefly getting into the RE series a few years ago. its never been skirmished and only test shot a cupel times, so is brand new. Only thing I’ve done to it is coat the grip logos with a Matt varnish, in order to protect them wearing off and to give it more shine. This also has full auto capability, but I’ve never tried it. This is also of WEs Gen2 M9 range, so is much more durable than their older models. Selling as I have no need for it, but is a really nice pistol for airsoft use and collection purposes. Asking for £110 plus postage. These sell for as high as £150 so don’t miss the chance to grab one new at a low price!

An old airsoft favourite, I’m reluctantly selling this as I haven’t used it in years and looking into the new Northeast Sten guns. It’s old but still works and has never let me down, shooting surprisingly well for such a short barrel. Could use a full service due to its age but no problems so far. It’s fitted with the now discontinued MKV upgrade kit from vintage airsoft, drastically improving the ergonomics of this. This is easy to remove and the original stock is also included, should you want the classic MKII look. Comes with two 50 round metal mid caps, plus five 110 round mid caps from King Arms. (Please note one of these is broken but can probably be fixed) Rare piece to find now in this setup, so don’t miss the opportunity! Sling is not included, and shown only for display purposes. Asking for £180 plus postage for this.

(Price drop, now £85) On offer here is the KWC 1911A1. Plus 4 Co2 bulbs, and Co2 Allen key. Excellent replica of the classic WW2 and Vietnam era 1911. All metal, giving this a hefty and realistic feel. It being full metal plus Co2 powered gives this a very heavy and satisfying kick when shot, among the hardest you will get in Airsoft. Co2 Also means this thing is reliable and works all year round, even on those really cold days. Not had a hard life, being skirmished about 5 times, and had maybe double that amount of Co2 bulbs through it, so is in great condition. Only reason I'm selling this is to upgrade to a model with licensed trades. So don't miss the chance, collector or Airsofter to own this classic and functional replica. Looking for £100 plus postage.
