      exactly what ive always thought! Ive had a shot of some decent rc planes before and its fair to say i was a pretty crap pilot :P but in the ATC we do glider flying every so often and i must say that that is wayyyy more easier lol.

       

      I suppose the size also has quite an effect on stability, because if the plane was say a 1/100 scale or something would that mean that a 10mph wind would be like 100mph for it or are my just making up crap? lol

      I was using driving as a comparable example, as its the closest thing i could think off at that time. in any case i stick by my original statement, as you have to input just the right amount of movement on the controls to achieve a stable flight, no sudden jerky moves etc etc. If you don't believe me ask when you go.
