      Haha me too. Cannot wait

  2. That sounds like there is no hop being applied to the rubber/BB. Try using the allen key to turn the grub screw on the top rail to see if the hop will engage. This should fix it but if not come back and we can trouble shoot it together
  3. Na man it can't be that, think about it you bolt still goes in to the hop unit even if it takes some doing. You not bending metal like that every time. I had a similar problem for a while, put the whole thing back together without the new sear and see if the works, if it does, take a file and drag it across the sides of the sear which is what helped with mine. Don't mill out you bolt they all have a gap like that
  4. Hummm after having a look around I don't think you can buy the parts outright. But I think that if you where to contact Bespoke Airsoft they might be able to help you with that. They are producing a line of kneecappers and Mad Max guns and they might still have some spare parts. It's always worth a try. Hope this helps
  5. Another package arrived today and for the first time in a while it wasn't Airsoft related. I decided to take up Axe throwing during this lock down and I have to say there is nothing more satisfying than lobbing an axe around your garden.

I think people would still call the police if I was throwing axes in my garden.

That axe would go through my fence and kill the noisy neighbour kids....

Where do I get one? 😛

  6. Yeah, I used the Piston for ages until I got one of the bespoke airsoft ones. Works well with a good air seal and smooth pull. The spring guide is also very nice and I am still using it but a word to the wise, if you where to get it I would put some lock tight on to the threads of the spring guide as it has an annoying habit of unscrewing and messing up the cylinder. Hope this helps
  7. Yeah I am also getting these emails for every notification
  8. Day 8 of lock down and i have to say I am (sort of) getting things done.

I have finally got my striker working to full capacity again and I am starting to consider sanding/sand blowing the outer barrel to create a "Silver Sable" kind of gun. Although I haven't been able to use it yet I am liking the British Army belt rig and it is a lot more comfortable than jerry rigged pile of trash that I was using before. Also who ever designed the detachable out barrel on the Ares M-45 is quite possibly insane, I needed another 3 pairs of hands just to put it all back together again!

Sorry for all the ramblings but I have done all my jobs and now I am board🙃

How bout work on the Kriss Vector, kited it out?

Actually I just got the extra feed lips and base plates for the mags and they work like a charm, I am thinking of getting a red dot sight somewhere down the line but for now, I really like the iron sights

  9. Started buying a few things again got myself a British army belt rig and pouches for vector/M-45 mags Feed lips and base plates for the vector Rocket valve for the vector to bring it back up to 350 FPS Some more .43s for the striker O and 25 cans of green gas because I seem incapable of buying in small quantities
  10. Mate I hate to break it to you(I don't) but this thread is over 6 years old and possibly it is a problem that he has forgotten about. Just some food for thought 😆
  11. I would give it a small bit of a sand just to remove the paint but apart from that you should be golden, just make sure to clean your hop rubber regularly and it should all be good
  12. Don't you realise it's still under warranty 🤣 You could have a new one for £170 or another completely stock one for 20 more 🤦‍♂️
  13. NOOOOOOOO STOP BEFORE ITS TO LATE you had one job man. ONE JOB 😂
  14. And so it begins (again) Got my self one of these https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/castellan-airsoft-dummy-hexaco-suppressor-long Because it is against the laws of nature to not have a rectangular suppressor on a vector. The universe would implode 😆 so that along with a thread adapter should keep me happy for a while. But then again ....
  15. Managed to finally get my hands on a KWA Kriss Vector from @KingZi and with some help from @rocketdogbert both absolutely stand up guys. And good god is it fun snappy and cool but goddam is it heavy 😂, I think I am going to have to start hitting the gym again just to be able to run it for a game🤣. Also, it looks sexy as hell
  16. If it's still under warranty I would send it back and get them to do it properly. But if not I would give the upgraded hop unit a go with the ML bucking to see if that makes a difference Aaa yeah thanks mate 👍
  17. In regard to the double feeding is he still using the standard hop up bucking? I know that I have had some serious problems with those in the past especially with the upgraded hop unit. Now on to problem at hand I may be wrong but I don't think you can put VSR barrels in with the standard hop unit but don't hold me to that. Depending on the FPS that it is putting out I would put in a Maple Leaf Deception bucking at around 60 to 70° In my own striker which is running dead 500 FPS I have a 65° bucking along with a panther concave nub and a Maple leaf dual bore barrel and that gives me accurate shots out to 100m. Hope this helps
  18. I have found my least favourite thing. Having a lovely new toy at home just begging to be played with and knowing that you won't be home till Saterday 😓😰😭. God dam you education🤣

  19. Just one observation that I have made while using the cylinder ring is that you seem to get a lot less grease on the hop rubber because the bolt is no longer dragging along the inside of the receiver and at the rate that the strikers go through buckings, anything that extends their life is a good thing
  20. PICK ONE you can either a pistol or an M4 please for the love of God don't make a Frankenstein combination of the two. Please.
  21. Here you go mate sorry it took so long but those are all the measurement that I could get 😀
  22. Ok got you, I will have to crack out my electric callipers on the weekend. I would also recommend an acetone bath to smooth it if you are using PLA because that should get it nice and smooth
  23. So I had to sand the ring itself so it could fit on the cylinder and then I sanded the interior of the receiver to keep it smooth and dam does it look good. I also found a replacement screw for the centre body screw because mine had shredded itself so now I have silver body screws as well😋 What do you want measuring, I know that you do a bit of 3d printing and coming from a guy who owns a 3d printer I don't think that you would be able to get the same level of smoothness and precision for the ring. They have to CNC theirs from some frictionless plastic to get it to work. But hey it's worth a try. I will be able to measure it accurately on Friday when I get home 😁
  24. Just a little follow up from the cylinder ring. If you are thinking of getting this be warned about the sheer level of sanding you will need to do to get it to bloody work. I think I spent around 3 hours with sandpaper and my own tears to get it working perfectly. But dear god is it worth it. It is quite possibly the best quality life change I have done to the Striker, the bolt literally falls back down into the breach, I love how it is now but dear lord did it take a long time to get it working properly 😭😂
