Tokyo Marui, are they always a safe bet?

Gotta laff 😉 Anyway, back on topic I started off with a Krytac, great rif, upgraded barrel and hop and it served me faultlessly for two year - but it was soulless A bit like driving a nice Japanese car I moved to a TM Scar recoil, again, same upgrades but still felt lacking. That stayed with me for about 4 months 🙄 before I accidentally moved to gbbr’s As my gbbr is a bit of a whinging wee tart unless it’s about 20 deg outside (which is twice a year in Scotland) I have again bought a TM recoil for use during the colder months of the year. For the simple reason I trust it to work out of the bag every time. This can be said about the majority of manufacturers RIF’s out there as long as you don’t unnecessarily tamper with the internals. I don’t think that TM are the saviour of the sport. I think that 80% of the other manufacturers out there will give as good a performance with a little bit of attention by just adding a decent hop rubber and a premium barrel. But does that defeat the purpose of buying a cheaper gun in the first place? Im seeing lots of our players attending with makes that I wouldn’t have considered a couple of years ago and they look & feel great in the hand, but shoot just as well as a TM. So to summarise I don’t know! 🤷🏻♂️ -

Im looking forward to finding out My M4 is in hibernation until warmer days 🙁 -
The Sea Dweller is a fcuking heavy monster (the genuine item) I got rid of mine and replaced it with a GMT II Batman back in 2015 Probably the best decision and investment I ever made.

Just purchased a few cnc items from Pablo Vila Ferrero in the GHK owners Facebook group. Not cheap, but should be worth it. If you have to ask, you don’t deserve to know what they are 😉 Hopefully here within a week or so from Madrid 😎 -
And the award for most extreme packaging goes to...

Im making sure that I re use every box/packaging that my items arrive in. Recycling stuff is ok , but repurposing & re using is really where it’s at in my opinion No, I don’t like to wear lentils 😁 -

Question is: is the olive drab colour a factory paint or a previous owners custom job? I have been able to return home painted RIF’s to factory quite easily and quickly just using unleaded petrol. The paint came off with a little agitation with a toothbrush (one I was finished with 😝) a quick wash with detergent then a wipe with an oiled rag and it’s they were as good as new 👍

Don’t diss the BBG4L stock Apparently it’s a sound investment, allowing you to get a more than 100% return after giving it a jolly good thrashing 😆 -
Ya big WEIRDO 😂👍

What happens when you pull the trigger? does it click?
-
Have you actually cocked it? you need to pull the charging lever backwards out of the gun to load the first bb and load the spring with pressure to start firing when you pull the trigger switched the safety to “fire”? got the magazine all the way into the grip properly? checked that the semi/full auto selector is t somewhere in between?

Ha! Karma is a bastard mate huh! 😂🤣😂🤌 😘

Bought this a couple of years ago with the intention of making it a DMR fielded it a few times and was happily slinging .25’s Just back from my tech, having been flat hopped to Chuck .28’s Polymer bodied, with metal outer barrel, charging handle & mags i have had this out of sight for 3 months and kinda forgot I owned it So moving it on for somebody else to enjoy 2 hi caps with it (holding 450 rnds each) hows £100 posted? I will even include custom HULK patch as long as next owner promises to forward it on with the gun 🤣 HULK SMASH!! Sold out everywhere I have looked EDIT: just looked and I’m aware that TG have them with free delivery Dont want the risk or hassle? I’ve reduced the price from £130 down to £100 delivered£100

Spotted this simple idea on a Korean Airsoft website when looking for a tip on one of my RIF’s Pretty simple and a doddle to make, the only painful bit was hot gluing the strings inside to help slow down the bb’s (who’d have thought Hot Glue can burn ya!) 9mm thick interlocking foam floor mats, the type used for the nursery play area - less than £10 on Amazon Double lined the back face opposite the Chrono, then approx 200m of string suspended from the top to snare the bb’s Should save the TV from stray shots 😂

I’ve still got one of these sitting in the cupboard In perfect working order too 😂 Dug it out during lockdown 1.0
