  1. i've got prometheus 6.03 barrels. But just checked that bucking is for GBBs, only have an HPA Tippman M4 and AEGs. I've got maple leaf and prommy purples to try. Tippman has been flathopped, but not tested. Looking to eek out as much range as possible. Cheers G
  2. 90m, what do I need to get 😀. Though I will need to wear glasses to see the target 😉
  3. I think he meant testing your gear (kit, equipment etc), not the gears in the gun. Of course I could have totally misread it 😉 I.e. check everything works, you have all the bits you need, battery charged. Adjust JPC correctly set up if you have one, try everything on/out beforehand etc. Cheers G
  4. ICS APE and some .30g BBs to try. Will be testing .25, .28 and .30 in the Tippman and APE on the weekend.
  5. Some sites allow up to 450 for DMR. Cheers G
  6. Without a mag in, it looks like it would take .50 cal bullets. Now that would be something.
  7. If you think about it a tree is more green on top and more brown lower down, so to the eye maybe it makes you look more like a tree, or moss on a rock 😀
  8. Cars lose as much as 25% once you drive them off the car lot when bought from new, is there any rule of thumb for Airsoft guns? I paid £350 for mine, but was the SMG version, more used but I got a charger, 2 Lipo batteries, 6 mid caps, a Hi Cap, a torch, a red dot scope a sling, tracer unit, an Evo Carry bag, a bottle of tracer BBs and other bits and bobs and free home delivery 😉
  9. Hi Thanks for the offer. I'm in London, but took the folding foregrip off my G36C and that works fine for now. Cheers G
  10. I got a holder with alligator clips to hold the wires while I solder, it's like having an extra pair of hands. Make sure you have a good soldering iron that doesn't take ages to heat up the solder. Cheers G
  11. What face pro are you wearing? I've been experimenting with cheeks welds and can't really with a paintball mask. I used to use the G36C with the stock folded, but with an M4 wanted give it a go. Cheers G
  12. Just bought some mags. A flash mag and mid caps. @Duff you can seen the difference between a black mag and the ones you wanted, I made you a sandwich 😁 Now I need some black spray paint ....
  13. I said I like the action, not the acting 😉
  14. I've been watching this lately, I enjoy seeing the kit as much as the action. Cheers G
  15. This is quite expensive, but might do the job, goes nearly round the front. https://frv-tailoring.myshopify.com/collections/belts/products/multicam-shooters-belt?variant=30655852816 Cheers G
  16. Was wondering would it be possible to adapt an Osprey cumberbund to do this?. That way you could have your pouches right the way round the front. Cheers G
  17. I don't see any lengths on the link. This is what I would suggest you measure on your belt.
  18. I think he wants to know the length of the molle section of the belts, so would jsut be a question of measuring yours. E.g. if he could take a 110 waist, he could wear any of the belts, but if the molle on the large was much longer than the small it would wrap round to the front so he could have pouches at the front, rather than them being on the sides. Cheers G
  19. Don't think C clamp is for me, https://loadoutroom.com/5695/exaggerated-c-clamp-grip-hype-not/ Happy with the stock, it was the foregrip, looked out of place and doesn't feel as comfortable on the M4 compared to the G36C. Cheers G
  20. This is my new gun, Tippmann M4, playing with attachments until I can actually fire it, hopefully tomorrow. Feels lighter than some M4's I have held at Skirmishes, no gearbox? For me that is a plus. I don't like the handle on the front, but don't like holding the rails either, so am open to suggestions.
  21. Got some more pouches to go with by CBQ set up, especially needed a pouch for grenades. Pyro seemed to enhance the game at the Mall, so I want to get some next time I play there. Cheers G
  22. I know, am betting it wasn't £6 either 😉 I shoulld have been clearer on the point I was trying to make.
  23. Between a rock and a hard place, no air in tank can't shoot, no hose can't shoot. Turns out it wasn't the hose, so I made the right call. Got an email with tracking details for the hose and spares for the Tippman, still at sorting depot, paid £12 for next day, so assumed I would get it today. I think I know what's waiting at the Post Office, MTP Gortex Jacket. G My used army surplus seems to hold their colour. DPM looks a more little faded than the MTP, but I reckon it's 20 years old, can't complain for about £6. A pox on merging posts
  24. 'kin 'ell give me a chance to at least shoot it 😁 Went to the shop, a whole 12 minutes to walk there, got more of a workout from the pump. Unfortunately the one I took to fill was leaking, he can try a fix it, won't be ready until Saturday, might just need an O ring The other one is half full, came with 1000psi and I managed to top up with another 500. I'll use that to test the gun, but when I got back nice red card from Royal Mail, so no doubt they tried to deliver the hose while I was out. At least my bits for the G36C arrived, new piston and a few other bits and bobs, got some spares too. Gotta get to work on it, otherwise I will be running round Eversley with an Evo, though I bet it will out distance the rentals at the very least.
