The 'What have you just bought' Thread
FreeFrag.UK replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Very nice, hopefully it's the correct one. I'd love to get the Raptor PKP or Raptor PKP Bullpup but I can't justify it and I'd need to handle them ahead of time to see if my support arm can take the weight. -

Could do with some parts myself but struggling to find anywhere with a decent tightbore in 247mm - 255mm. -
Can anyone recommend a source for a Prowin P90 Hop Unit? Recommendations for barrel manufacturer and hop rubber/nub are also appreciated given the current madness.

Wwii (Ww2) Kit Thread for All Factions
FreeFrag.UK replied to MSSW Rune's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
@MSSW Rune - As far as protection goes I need to have a firm covering from the hollow just above the sternum/separating the clavicle down to about an inch below the ribcage. I was thinking about it after posting and the idea of some of the low profile/covert PC's did occur as a potential solution while maintaining the outward aesthetic. -

I love my impression kits and I have toyed with the idea of putting together WW2 and/or various Cold War kits but one thing which tends to hold me back is that I need something protecting my chest (health related) which inevitably generates some issues. The Lee Enfield No.4 which has been teased a lot over the past year or so looks incredibly promising. Your kits look incredible. As far as WW2 kit goes I'll admit I've got a soft spot for the 352. Infanterie-Division from Normandy along with the kit used by British Para's during Operation Market Garden. I've never really investigated the WW2 weapons but your write up indicates some great pieces of kit, with a bit of technical know how. -

Got a few bits on order for my AK-74 build at the moment. I've got a genuine Zenitco extended charging handle, Zenitco Klesch-2, Zenitco B-9 Gooseneck and one of the Zenitco foregrips (the name escapes me at the moment). I'm using the down time to finish off my 74 and weighing up keeping my AKMS instead of selling it with the intention of fitting up like some of the load outs seen in the Crimean troubles. -

To be honest the NGRS Mk.46 sounds like an absolute beast from the reviews I've seen.

I am absolutely smitten with this pistol. I dread to think what the cost would be but I would love one of these for my collection.

This looks like it's an air pistol to me. Especially considering the reported power output combined with the metal BB's in the box.

@MikeMarden very cool stuff. Was looking at a Klesch-2 myself but I was struggling to wrap my head around the features each one possessed. Any chance you could link me to the one you picked up? Have you got a solution to protect the lenses? -
Thought I'd throw this one into the pile: It can easily be found for £255 - £280 brand new so asking £250 second hand seems a bit wishful, even with a few extra shells.

I'm currently dealing with Samoon in relation to a fault with my order. I have ordered a muzzle brake, foregrip, gooseneck and extended charging handle. There are definite issues with 2 of the 4 items and I've highlighted a potential third issue but I've requested further information to determine if it's an actual fault or not. With the exception of the grub screws on the charging handle clarification was sought on product spec's for each product prior to ordering to try ensure that they would be fit for purpose. The locating bolt on the gooseneck is too large and as such doesn't fit despite being advertised as for picatinny rails. The 24mm thread on the muzzle brake is damaged/poor so it won't fit and when attempting to use the supplied adaptor for fitment it will not accept the locking pin to secure it as the grooves/indentations are about 2/3rds of the size they should be in order to fit. The grub screws for the charging handle are identical in length when one should be slightly longer than the other, at least in the real product (this is the one I've requested clarification on). I've offered to supply them with photo's supporting my fault claims and I've been nothing but polite with them but so far the replies received boil down to "we've never had a fault before so the fault lies with you" and similar responses, escalating to patronising/insulting. So far I'm very unimpressed and I can see this escalating to a PayPal dispute. I made it clear from the outset that I was looking for an amicable solution but the service has been stand offish and unprofessional so far.

Didn't you ask about this company over in the retailer section? It's very rare for any company to improve or change unless it is subject to a drastic restructure/change in management/change in ownership. There are plenty of retailers out there and no doubt whatever you seek will be available somewhere else. It also wouldn't surprise me if you find the same products for less elsewhere. If you're unsure then check through the retailer section as a lot of companies have passed through at some point or another. As with all things the individual's experience will vary on a case by case basis and you're best reading whatever reviews are available to establish consistency in what you can likely expect from a business. Companies such as JustBB rely on people approaching them who have little to no experience in the hobby and those who overlook/fail to do research ahead of time. I would also suggest that you avoid making multiple posts covering the same subject across multiple/inappropriate sections of the forum. They'll only end up getting squashed by the moderators due to duplication/inappropriate content/<insert applicable reason here>. If you have questions about particular pieces of equipment/gear the "Guns, Gear & Loadouts" section of the forum contains a wealth of knowledge and the review sections are also worth looking at. At the end of the day it's your money and it's up to you what you do with it, however, I would suggest doing your research prior to posting. There are numerous sticky threads across the forum which are worth reading as many contain great information for getting started and assisting you in getting the most out of the forum. -

@Lasbrisas17 Great looking bit of kit. I was considering grabbing one of the Klesh-2 lights, any recommendations on which model? Would I be best getting it off the Zenitco ebay store? -

@L3wisD I must admit I've been really tempted by this as I think I've seen Russian troops utilising it but I'm hesitant to take the plunge without confirmation. It's a bargain price for sure. -

It's the force it takes to rack it. Unfortunately I have some issues with my left arm which can make it difficult to support heavier guns (I'd have a PKM by now otherwise), to support guns past a certain point and I also found it acts up when trying to rack spring shotguns. -

I must admit, I love the look of the TM Spas 12. I've considered one but unfortunately I struggle with spring shotguns. -

I've got OD equipment simply because it tends to match up very well with a wide array of camo on the clothing front. -

@Asomodai Which is the best Tavor to go for at the moment? Admittedly for £75 you can't really argue although I wonder about the plastic quality as I recall reading about people having allergic reactions to one manufacturers iteration. For the life of me I can't recall which manufacturer unfortunately, just that it was a cheap one.
