  1. I play/marshal at section 8 it is was one the biggest out door sites in country. most airsoft guns even with up grades will struggle to shoot passed 70 meters that is about 230 feet even at TM power levels that's sub 1 second flight time ( granted will be slightly longer due to energy loss but not 3 seconds). you are chasing milliseconds. I have found most airsofter can't judge distance and even out doors you are engaging sub 50 metres, you can do more with a hop rubber and good heavy weight BBs (Just like cars and good tires), most of the time the shot that gets you is the shot you didn't see. Any way if you want to up grade your that's your choice, but you will need to learn how to do it or pay a tech and hope for the best upgrades are not drop in they need adjustment, modification to work. I have sold many gearboxes in parts because of giving up trying to get them to even work, now i can put a gear box back together and have it work but i can't get them optimised. Maybe you can learn the skills to become a good tech and i'll take my hat of to you but i have pissed away too much money buying project guns and never getting them to work as well as an out the box gun. and above the best long range gun i had was a CYMA M14
  2. 20 years of playing never once up graded a TM. As I said do what you want buy what you want all i can give you is my experience. I have only upgraded guns when they break.
  3. Up to your self I personally don't think the receiver is worth putting the money in. even with top of the line parts the tolerances could still be off and it might not ever work right unless you stick with the same manufacture very little in airsoft is just drop in. No ones going to be playing any time soon. you still have your AUG, learn to fix the gearbox and save up for something good out the box. I can highly recomend the TM scars if that's the style you are going for.
  4. Depends what you want to spend you can get a CYMA V2 gear box for about £40 to £50.00. After that you are jumping to £80+ and at that state you might as well just buy a new gun.
  5. Do not buy a gear box with proprietary parts.
  6. User hasn't been on line for almost two years
  7. It's a relatively new thing. in theory the plastic mags should be more efficient as they are poorer thermal conductors compared to metal so less cool down.
  8. just noticed the ares part sorry heres the manual https://www.greekairsoft.gr/manuals/manual.asp?Manufacturer=ARES&Filename=ARES+L85+AFV+AR-003+Manual.pdf
  9. They are compatible-ish. WE are based on the TM design but the tolerances are not the same. I went the other direction to you i had a TM Glock 17 and bought a few WE mags to save some money. only a few quid and not worth it the WE performance was notifiable worse than the TM mags. I have generally found you are better sticking to the same brand unless you are prepared to do mods.
  10. Hi all looking to find out what mid caps are compatible with an ICS MP5. running a search found king Arms mags do but you can't find them in stock any where so any other brands people aware of?
  11. There are stories told that TM have mock ups for many guns but what gets made is dictated by what they think will sell in Japan.
  12. it's a cheap scope it's just not made well enough to retain zero it's just something you'll have to live with.
  13. I actually did a google search before answering.you asked question that took a two second search this forum and community are here to help each other but as said don't be expected to be spoon feed. any way only WE and Tm make the XDM WE are a clone of the TM the mags are interchangeable but WE tolerances are not as good so you will have performance issues swapping manufacture. for future reference do a search of this forum or google before you post most things have been asked over and over again.
  14. I would use te the search function of this site to do some research there are dozens of M4 manufactures with 100s of variation and massive price differences
  15. if something as straight forward as is there extend mags for a particular pistol has no results on google it's safe to assume they don't exist.
  16. Slide took a couple of attempts to line up but glue is holding.
  17. Even Real Steel manufactures can't make reliable feeding drum mags you expect some back street work shop in Asia to make an airsoft one? you have pretty much described the P90 high caps mechanism they jam constantly.
  18. they are actually very comfortable and ergonomic.
  19. hunger over brain not working. KWA from FireSupport they had a few bone yard TT33 i think there is one left for £75.00
  20. got files for the under barrel shot gun that i am looking to get printed.
  21. Cheers. I have actually found zero one to be pretty decent over the years. I forgot i also got inspired re watching Kingsmen
  22. Furlough and a 40th birthday have been hard on the wallet. Firesupport and Zero one should stat in business a little while longer. the Desert Eagle and Striker were bone yard projects that kept me busy for a while. sadly I have now received my 1st TM lemon the series 70 mag falls out when the gun fires. Runs fine on any other of my TM mags just insufficient material to hold the series 70 mag in place.
