  1. Hey mate, didn't immediately recognise your username so thought you were a noob, shock horror when I checked your profile & see your more akin to a Chelsea pensioner in forum years lol?. Jokes aside, getting in to sniping is a big step, your mindset & fieldcraft is just as important as your gun, maybe more so. Whats been your playing style up to now, & types of gun you favour ?, I ask as when players have previously mentioned getting in to the sniper role, I'll usually recommend trying a hybrid role first, think a single shot dmr role using their longest most accurate gun & focusing on the fieldcraft (& patience) aspects, no point in shelling out good money on a rifle & possible upgrades if after 5 minutes of concealment or crawling, you want to run towards the firefights.
  2. This?, I've no doubt some, possibly all the work done is dubious at the very least, but raising issues 18 months later is open to all sorts of interpretation & assumption, not least by the "tech" your accusing who will throw counter accusations your way. Gotta ask, has anybody else had issues with this mob, because if their public profile is viewed positively, doesn't give your claims much credibility ?
  3. There's a few that like to fiddle on here, usually while looking at their gun collections?
  4. Before I'd opened your thread, nomex immediately came to mind, I'd search "nomex short gloves" or "nomex tactical gloves" & see what comes up. ?
  5. I'm refusing to get involved with this thread, it's downright foolhardy & dangerous, what if my missus got hold of my phone, let's just say it'd be a closed casket service ⛪?
  6. Got to agree, manufacturers allegedly try very hard to match their components, you've thrown 3 non matching brands together & this is the result. Had this been more "old skool" tech you would have probably got away with it, but as you've already pointed out, the extended mag follower is part of a much newer tech design feature, limiting it's compatability. Thankfully it's just a nozzle, an easy fix but a valuable lesson for everyone who reads the thread.
  7. Literally had a "kinda" conversation about this on a sales thread this week, when I checked Pf48 I could only see a compensation range of £100 to £200, dependent on certain conditions, & could see no option for an enhanced insurance. Admittedly I didn't dig that deep but I suspect PF have quietly moved the goalposts, whether its a seasonal thing or more long term I don't know. ? ?
  8. Lol, just got told off, laughing in bed is apparently frowned upon in my house?
  9. Lol, happy wife, that's an oxymoron if ever I heard one? Yep, we all like a project every so often. ?
  10. I agree, & I know frig all about vpn's etc, but at the same time trying to advertise the services of a witch doctor etc on a UK airsoft forum doesn't exactly scream "sophisticated", there's always the possibility that this wave of spammers is nothing more than a poor attempt at data harvesting by ill informed chancers who don't have the best masking technology. Now if they had created some convincing looking posts offering cheap tactical kit or gnu's, with pics showing them being modelled by an airsoft god such as myself ?, they'd have got loads of hits.
  11. @Jedi_MasterMaybe it's time then to start with the "moody country" ip ban, see if that makes a difference, if it does, great, if not, consider other options. It seems like the easiest option initially, requiring not much mod work once set up. Although it does make me wonder about sites like zeroin, while it's a bit of a ghost town of late, don't see any spam popping up, wonder how they've filtered or blocked it ?
  12. Agree, I've banned dozens the over the last week, who knew there were so many witch doctors out there?. Definitely need something new, spammer signs up & 10 minutes later they've created about 15 absurd threads, it will drive genuine members away if they can't be arsed to trawl through the crap to find the Airsoft stuff. Great.....not, to make matters worse they look underage, someone randomly passes through & sees that they'll think it's a nonce forum?
  13. That's a lot of money for something so hideously fugly?
  14. Alternatively, KJW do a couple of hi-capa variants, they're "all metal", & while I had no issues with mine, I never used it in the colder seasons & even in hot weather it was never quite as good as either of my TM's. Had an all metal WE hi-capa too, but that was a poorly made bag-o-shite, irrespective of the seasons lol.
  15. No worries, for some pedants it's a massive trigger??, for the rest of us it's an excuse for a mickey take & a meme lol? PS, welcome?
  16. It's not a license ?
  17. Don't save money by buying new, buy secondhand & pay double? He's got a damaged pistol that's an absolute bargain too?
  18. @The DrabOlive I've had a load of pistols, still do, but first couple of years of playing prob had 6 I think, 3 different brands, ksc, kjw, we, best of them was my ksc G19, & then one day a regular at the chain of sites I used offered me a tm hi-capa 4.3 with 3 mags for £70, had a try on the edge of the safezone, it was actually acrisse, a military training area near Folkestone, middle of winter & absolutely freezing. First few shots I'm like "wow, that's got some snappy kick", & hitting small targets at 30m+. Emptied all 3 mags, 24 bb's in each, without missing a beat I FREEZING TEMPERATURES!!!! ?. Bought it there & then, still using it probably 20 years later. Buy whatever you like the look of, BUT First buy a tm hi-capa, that way you've always got a perfect secondary to go back to when the others let you down.
  19. That's a shame?, especially to have to come back to the "sunny" UK to get a game in ?
  20. Welcome back mate, where abroad were you that you couldn't keep playing ?
  21. Sounds like the retailer is at fault here, either due to their declaration on the documents, or the actual rif supplied being not fit for purpose in the UK. If I were you I'd argue this with the retailer, don't rollover & take any BS, & maybe start a claim straight away via your funding source.
  22. Don't sweat it, be yourself & she'll come around ?
  23. To be fair, how many people probably said "but he always came across as such a nice guy" when referencing the likes of Dennis Neilson or Jeffrey Dahmer, to name but a few lol?
  24. Nah, he's much nicer than KM, but to be fair, so is ebola?
  25. Warrior kit is awesome, owned quite a few rigs of theirs (still got a DAR rig), slightly on the heavy side but I guess for good reason, but if your fit enough it won't be an issue.
