Well, damn. Ordered Sunday night, expected dispatch was shown as Tuesday, which would have given it a fair shake of arriving by Friday. It's now the end of Tuesday, two full working days after ordering, and the order is still showing as in progress, with no dispatch information. I'd stick with TaiwanGun if I were you, chaps.

Get in, she's soon to be single.

Anyone got any horror or great success stories to share from the past couple of weeks? GunFire are coming out about £25 cheaper than TaiwanGun for the same order (or to be more precise, I can add a tri-shotty to the GF order for a couple of £££ extra) but I'd really like the delivery before next weekend. What do we reckon? I'll be ordering first thing Monday morning either way. [EDIT] Ordered from GunFire, such cheapness, many bargains. Taking one for the team here, I'll let you know if and when it shows up.

I'd wondered. While I can't be doing with Novritsch turning his channel(s) into one continuous shill for his own branded tat, at least he did put some effort into creating the SSG24. Trying to flip £100+ profit on one just because there is (or was) a waiting list is bare scalping, and I hope this seller takes a well deserved bath on it. The "*final price drop*" did make me chuckle. What's he going to do if it doesn't sell at that price? Throw it on the barbecue?
-
What is it with SSG24 owners? Brand new price is (($435 + 3.2% duty) + $55 shipping) + 20% VAT = $605 = £451 to your door. "*final price drop*" for a pre-licked one is £600, excluding delivery. It does come with the all important Novritsch sling though...

With respect, that's an automated stock system and a fortuitous delivery. I tend to judge retailers on how they respond when things go wrong, because that's when it will really matter.
-
Looks like I was lucky to get an order through from them in mid April. Such a shame, I hope it works out for everyone.

BBC Watchdog? I'd be surprised if an organisation of pinko hoodie huggers had anything to say about realistic imitation firearms except to REEEEEE! in horror at discovering that they are available, and try to get the whole industry shut down.

You'll probably want to cite Fraud Act 2006 S2 Fraud by false representation rather than CRA 2015 if you're going to accuse them of being criminals. CRA enumerates your tort rights, it doesn't create new criminal offences (except for obstructing an enforcement action or purporting to be an enforcer). On that, I've invited justbbguns to exercise their right of reply in this thread. Mostly for the lulz.

Mmm, I have seen this issue of returned stock being sold as new levelled against several of the "fooBB.com" merchants. Best of luck. What criminal offence have they committed?
-
It's not so much a problem with stock imagery, it's that he's asking for money now in return for something that he doesn't have and which may not even exist. That's the kind of shenanigans that gets marketplaces a bad name, and if it were up to me, I'd delete the ad, ban him, block his IP, and shag his sister for good measure. Then send him pictures.

http://i.imgur.com/phQ2es0.png DPD tend to be too efficient. I've had DPD Darren pull up outside my house and sit in his van while I'm playing with myself in the garage. When I went to ask him to handle my package, he got all sheepish and said he couldn't give it to me yet as he was early. But... you're here... I'm right here... Yeah, but Friend Computer won't accept the signature until... 3... 2... 1... OK, now you can have it. ... aaaand I've just realised that I checked "garage" on my UPS delivery, but I locked the garage door this morning after I'd got my bike out from sheer ingrained habit. Despite repeating "Don't lock the garage door tomorrow. Don't lock the garage door tomorrow. Don't lock the..." to myself all last night. So, OK, ineptitude, fair cop.

Can't be done, homes. Check out this memepic:
-
Huh, I didn't even know you could do that. I only see options for where they can abandon it at my house.
-
Please, please tell me that you're wearing the tail. ?

+1, I guess. I just ordered some bits, they came next day, 1st class as promised, and very well packaged. One of the few sites I've actually bookmarked and will definitely be using again.

£85 gun + "£200 on upgrades" = £300 gun? Airsoftarithmetic.
-
Which act, which section?
-
IIRC (and I may not), that technically only applies to airguns. Which is darn silly, but our projectile laws are a complete mess. Your first hurdle is getting your parents onboard. After that, I'd let them handle talking to the neighbours. Best of luck.

I think I'd be requesting that they take a credit card payment for the amount shown on screen, or my money would be going elsewhere. Hope you get it figured out and sorted.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

But it wouldn't stop a real bullet. Having just had the lens shot out of my camera for the 2nd time in a row, I'm currently looking for protection solutions. Of course, it won't look like a real Drift Stealth 2 then. -
"Hit! HIT! HIIIIIT!"

How high is that rail riser under the holo sight? 1"? Do you find it makes it easier to use the sight with (I assume) face protection on? Actually, looking closer, is that two layers of risers?
-
Are we using the same definition of inches, yards, and grouping?

5-mode strobe torch + rail mounts. Like this (not that actual one, but they all appear to be the same). Wow, it's pretty bright. And the strobe is decent. So, it's a half press of the switch to change modes, neat. Except... urrr. Every time I turn it off and on again, it also changes modes. So I set it to strobe, turn it off, turn it on... and get a slow SOS blink. No, not user error, it does it every time no matter how much or how little I press the power button. Back to Amazon with you. Suggestios for a multi-hundred-lumen 1" body torch with high beam and strobe modes toggled separately from the on/off switch would be gratefully received. Foregrip bipod. Actually only bought as part of an Amazon order to get the total over £20 for free delivery, because I'm just that cheap - I didn't particularly want the bipod part. Eh. But it's not that ergonomic as a grip either. And it's long, too long to leave on the gun while it's secured in my bag. Well, back you go too.
