  1. Me: If you could send a PayPal invoice ( https://www.paypal.com/invoice/create ) to my PayPal address listing the item and postage, I'll be happy t- Seller: I don't use PayPal invoices. Just send the money to my account. Me: I mean... why wouldn't you?
  2. I'd hope that buyers are checking for the best price for a new toy versus a pre-abused one, but I guess there's one born every minute.
  3. It's a real price that's available today. The used toy in question is available today. It's a fair comparison, today.
  4. Well, that would be down to the law of the land. An airsoft gun that is "capable of discharging a missile (of any kind) with kinetic energy at the muzzle of the weapon that exceeds the permitted level" [of] "in the case of a weapon which is capable of discharging two or more missiles successively without repeated pressure on the trigger, 1.3 joules;" http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2017/3/section/125/enacted 1.3J is about 375 fps with a 0.2g BB. If it's capable of producing more than that, it's a section 5 firearm. Since you're so sure of yourself, you could get your local firearms unit round to check out out. Have a good old angry-man at them about how some spods on their interwebphones are talking jive while you rip off a 1.63J full auto burst. But being sold as full auto. We all know what you mean, but given that the wording of the statute is "capable of", and since you're much bigly smarterer than us, you might want to consider listing it as being locked to semi-auto. This is for your benefit, and that of any potential victim who buys that from you, not ours.
  5. Are you joking? Look at that custom paint job. You can't put a price on that.
  6. I have JayHawk ahead on points, you're going to have to go for a knockout.
  7. Eh, that's a minor sin, it's clearly described in substantial detail, even down to the postage and payment method. I wish more ads were like that.
  8. The issue I'd have is giving that much money to some random in return for a Frankengun that may perform, better, the same, or worse than a stock one. It's not the parts that matter, it's how the the sum of them perform together.
  9. I think he's just trolling these redditards: https://www.reddit.com/r/SneakyBackgroundFeet/
  10. Eh. It's £10 or so cheaper than buying UK retail. If he finds someone who was in the market for it anyway it's not crazy. It just seems optimistic that it'll find its market.
  11. Especially as it's for a leftie. Also up on eBay as an auction with a BIN of £59 including delivery. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Blackhawk-Omnivore-Pistol-Holster/113737365870?hash=item1a7b46796e:g:x14AAOSw5P1czhsP I'll be surprised if it gets any bids. If it does, I'll be surprised if the buyer realises that it's a leftie...
  12. God dammit. TaiwanGun have been doing that for a while. A couple of us fired in complaints to PayPal (it's a breach of their contract) but we've been fobbed off. Apparently they're more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules contractual terms. We said that if TaiwanGun got away with it then it would spread to other airsoft retailers. And here we are. I wonder who'll be next. [UPDATE] Oh, it gets better. They don't appear to accept credit card payments any more, so no buyer protection that way. Not at all dubious and ropey.
  13. I'd got the idea that CamoRaids were good guys rather than wanks, so it might be worth asking. Pre-order isn't order, right?
  14. It's so great to see teenage girls getting into airsoft.
  15. Sure, now, but physics might have worked differently in 2015.
  16. My life. My life makes me feel pretty queasy, if we're being honest.
  17. Then you get to mock the people who mocked in vain. Everyone's a whinger winner.
  18. I've threatened to loan him my CYMA CM.123 bloaty-blaster, so he's got plenty of incentive to get the EVO somehow. Urgh, UPS though, the two nearest pick-up points have both knocked back accepting RIF deliveries for me, apparently with no consequence to them for doing so. Oh, my PatrolBase order has apparently shipped this evening and will be delivered by DHL tomorrow (IT COULD HAPPEN!), they just sat on it for 2 days first.
  19. Realistically it seems to be about 3 (feet = yards), which http://www.age-converter.com/horse-age-calculator.html suggests is horse years.
  20. Given that the problem is deceptive adverts rather than disruptive comments, I'm not seeing why advertisers should be able to do that.
  21. I don't find it strange that ordering from an airsoft retailer is a random lottery. To be fair, the last order I did with them showed up pretty quickly, and if they'd actually sent me the same item that they'd advertised, I would have been happy.
