    Looking at 9.9V LIFE batteries for my TM Famas. Even after the motor upgrade, very occasionally the motor wont quite turn the gears enough on semi, locks up and needs a quick burst on full auto. This is using a 7.4 lipo. I have used a 11.1v lipo in storage mode and I no longer get the lock up. 

    Even though it has a mosfet, I loathe to use 11.1v lipo on full charge as breaking the Famas means a lot of work to repair.

    Would a 9.9V Life battery be a good halfway house? Looking at this one.

      Others will produce the science for you (have read on here about how it wouldn’t make much of a difference) I can only speak from experience, I’ve been running all my guns on 9.9’s for near 2yrs now and I’m more than happy with them , one example of a fault solved my ICS L85 was sluggish as hell on a 7.4 but I’d often get double feeds on an 11.1 on the 9.9 ? Nice and snappy and no doubles either . 

      So im convinced it was worth it . 👍

      Interesting! I have read the science and was on the fence about it. My ICS L85 was pretty sluggish before I upgraded the motor. Do you use MOSFETs when using the LiFE?
