  1. I'm probably asking the obvious, but are the mags leaking at all? Could be a slight leak at the output valve or the main o ring inside the mag? I take it, when it fails, there is no gas left in the mag? That's all I can think of at the mo!
  2. If you'd asked this several years ago, id had said the WE, just based on price and available spare part/ upgrades. Having owned several of them, there was never any huge issues with the ones i had. Now, however, id say the MWS platform. The DE versions seem a superb buy and parts are a lot more readily available for the MWS system. The reliability seems second to none and overall id say is the best option to get into GBB's (or if you own a gbb already and looking for other options)
  3. It's not the best selector in the world! I took the lower off mine, undid the inside tiny grub screws (146 on diagram) and stretched the springs a little bit. That improved it a tad bit.
  4. yes, i will go for the mws platform as well. A lot more versatile in regards to upgrades etc by the looks of it!
  5. You might have seen them already, but check out Middle age gamers youtube channel. He does some cgs/mws comparisons.
  6. Don't regret it at all. I also used to hpa all my gbbr's (not by an adaptor, but making my own dual stack mags) but have now given all that up and gone just gas. I have a saiga 12k, AA G36 and now a ghm9. Ill eventually get an aeg for those really cold days, but nothing has got my attention more than another GBB! lol
  7. Nice write up, Ive been looking into getting one myself. The price seems very good for what you get.
  8. Ill whjats app you the video. thanks

  9. Yep. thats what you need. Be aware, that depending on the valve location, you may need to drill a larger hole for the hpa adapter to fit.
  10. I think there was a bad batch of these a while back? but thought they would have all been cleared by now! Id contact where you bought it from just in case.
  11. The kwa was one of my first gbbr's many years ago. Full auto never worked! From filing down feed lips and the bb feeding ramp, it just constantly chopped Bb's to bits. There were several articles on it, and it looks like it was never resolved. Get a refund of you can! As for WE? Never had an issue with mine and was a great little AK.
  12. I owned a WE apache for a good while and it was superb. I then fitted a maple leaf barrel and nub and by god, it was accurate! Was one of my regrets now having got rid of it, but i was low on cash. Just seen Taiwangun had the SD on offer so bought another..this time ill keep it no matter what.

    Which MP7?

I had the vdc and my brother had the TM. Having used both, i would buy either! They have issues, as mentioned above, and to be honest, the size of the tm didnt bother me, as it felt good to use. Your choice at the end of the day
  14. It's a good choice, and will have the warranty as well. I accidentally switched mine on without changing the voltage on the transformer which blew it! I contacted their support and a new one was sent out the following day.
  15. It was an amazon purchase. I got lucky as they were offering a discount at the time.
  16. I cant remember how long they take, but its not drastic! I've been using mine for 2 years now, with no issues.
  17. Hi, A lot of people recommend the yong heng type compressors. I use a GX CS2 compressor which is more expensive than the previous mentioned ones, but allows me the choice of using it in the house or at a site via a car battery.
  18. It does I have not been a fan of the tan colour, but just loved the 416 in it. It really does look good. Shoots damn good aswell!
  19. You most likely have looked at this already, but check the regulator on the Tippmann. If it is set too low, it will also do as you described, from what i remember!
  20. a lfs restrictor disc would bring it down, but im not sure on your site limits? the blue 20% one, or an npas. Either way, if you dont want to go the diy route, give me a shout as i have both going spare. The p90 hated the npas and the restrictor disc was too big to get a decent bolt cycle, so i lasered my own disc!

    GBB Upgrades

I know you're asking for a tech, but how confident would you feel doing it yourself if needed? I had the SD version and its very easy to work on. One pin holds the hop unit and barrel in, and then it all slides out of the guns receiver. The unit itself is easier than some to work on aswell.
  22. yeah, i usually get my stuff from them quicker than some uk sites.
  23. Powair6 currently have them in stock if you're still looking?
  24. Bought a p90 the other week and got to field it. I hpa converted it as i heard the mags were pretty bad to use with gas- they were right lol. Other than the mags, this is a superb smg. So manoeuvrable and even with only .25 bb's it was spot on.
  25. I think the g36 will be my next purchase. I've a p90 on the way, so better ease off the wallet for a while!
