Totally what he said , what your asking is the same as the “what gun should I get ?” question new players frequently ask . You’ll never get your definitive answer simply due to the the fact the responders have different likes and dislikes , one man’s perfect gun is another’s worst abomination on Earth ! Me personally my choice of guns is all about the form not the function I want to like the look of my guns and if it has poor function I’ll find a solution to improve it , where as other players don’t care what it looks like just as long as it has the highest power/shoots the fastest/has greatest distance of any gun on the game site . So ultimately just crack on and if it works ? It’s a case of “huzzah I’m an airsoft genius !” and if it doesn’t ? Then it’s a case of “fuck , that wasn’t supposed to happen !” AND remember ‘opinions are like arse holes , everyone has one and there frequently full of shit !’😉 Live long and prosper .👍

What have I learned about airsoft ? I have learned (though I think we all already know this) airsofters are like the proverbial ’dog with a bone’ when it comes to topics that’ll set em off on a good moan or rant , no matter how long ago it was the subject matter and discussion had run their course they will just NOT let go of it . The problems with TaiwanGun thread for example is a classic demonstration ? Think it’s safe to say we ALL know there ps an above average chance if you buy from abroad the boarder agency/DHL/Parcelfarce/etc are going to bend you over the table and nail you from behind AND not even have the good manners to offer a reach around ! BUT we still moan and bitch about it ! 🤦‍♂️😁

I hate these things on so many levels , you go in to a shop looking for some ‘full fat’ coke and it’s like your looking for a bottle of freshly squeezed baby blood ! “Oohh cokes bad for you it’s full of sugar !” BUT it’s absolutely fine to have racks full of all the brands of ‘energy’ drinks you want ? have you seen the contents of those cans of poison in comparison ? 500ml bottle of coke has 50gs of sugar(12 teaspoons worth !) and 60mg of caffeine . That’s basically it . 500ml can of monster has 54gs of sugar(13 teaspoons) and 160mg of caffeine ! BUT that’s not all it also has artificial sweeteners in it(WTF ?) plus it has Ginseng/Guarana seed extract/L-Carnitine&L-Tatrate in it which are all fast release stimulants and the last two are pure chemical ones which have proven links to heart arithmia in under 25’s ! plus the hydration value of all the energy drinks is much lower than of ‘bog standard’ fizzy drinks due to the increase of cardiac output associated with the stimulants which will cause you to sweat more and so loose more body fluid .

Now for me this is the very truth of the hobby I try to avoid , if I let this truth out of its box I’m never gonna buy a gun I like the look off ever again id just run the simplest M4 with a box mag and that’ll be it ! When I choose a new gun(immaterial if it’s ‘new’ or 2/3/4th hand or what ever) I have to like the look of it first , if I need to ‘tweak’ it a bit for optimum performance ? That’s not a problem I will do something with it if I have too . I’ve always been ‘form over function’ with all my guns .
