  1. Bought a Safariland drop leg because it was cheap and I wanted the actual holster part for my 226. Arrives and I go to take holster off to mount QLS forks on it and one of the Allen bolts has its head completely stripped ? Tried the rubber band method, different sized Allen keys, even trying to hammer one in and it would not budge. Resorted to grinding into the head to get it out with a screwdriver. And now I have a holster ... drop leg is mullahed but I hate them anyway ?
  2. 12 days off work and nothing to do ... so might as well spend some money and reorganise my first and second line kit ? Belt: - Blackhawk battle belt with ITW buckles - Esstac KYWI double pistol pouch - 5.11 double magazine pouch - Blackhawk medical pouch - 5.11 flashbang pouch - Safariland Glock 19 with QLS forks and T-Rex arms thigh strap Vest: - Blackhawk heli vest - Blackhawk admin pouch - 5.11 double magazine pouch - 5.11 flashbang pouch - 5.11 radio pouch (on rear) Decided to swap out my old Blackhawk magazine pouches for these 5.11 ones (Courtesy of Venomous ?) as they’ll fit both my M4 and AK magazines quite comfortably. Intending to run this for urban ops or skirmish games. Rhodesian chest rig on its way soon for my woodland load out.
  3. Went for a nice lightweight load out today at Camp Bravo. Ditched the plate carrier and just ran the Minimi and my P226. Excellent day popping up and ambushing people!
  4. Finally got round to painting the rifle, need to pick up some darker paint tomorrow to add the stripes. Probably won't do the MP5 as that looks better in its natural colours?
  5. TM Sig P226 to replace my WE one, and a CNC Hop unit to add to my upgrades for the M249
  6. Yeah I can't seem to get it just to attach as a photo. So you'll have to visualise it; the kit and guns I've listed, but with trees and stuff in the background?
  7. Fairly straightforward load out for this Saturdays filmsim at Gunman Eversley. Dickies dealer boots, jeans, lumberjack shirt, multicam drop leg, Helivest and a ball cap with team callsign patch. Weapons wise I'm running my TM G17 and ICS MP5, which was absolutely spot on. IMG_0463.HEIC
  8. Some MP5 midcaps for this weekend, gas for the pistol and a Blackhawk pouch for my helivest; slowly building up my collection of OD pouches if anyone is selling any...
  9. Ah shame, maybe next time!
  10. Me, my brother and one of my mates are headed down to Eversley this weekend if anyone is going?
  11. @djben9 I relented and picked up a pre-owned ICS MP5A5 for £90-00!! Figured it can be my project gun for the next month or so; not that I've decided what to do to it yet!
  12. More pouches for my heli-vest, a camping bed, and a third Surefire G2. Currently trying to decide whether I need an MP5 or not?
  13. Photo from Urban Assault last month, nice simple load out. Looking forward to getting back down there next weekend.
  14. Finally my Evike order arrived, and everything else I ordered! 5:11 Waistcoat (although its too big so I'm going to sell it) Inert Smoke Grenades 2 Surefire G2 Lights Offset light mount Angel Custom Steel Charging Handle 2 WE G36 Magazines Multicam single point sling Ebairsoft MBUS Sights G36 Flat top rail
  15. NPAS Key, mini screwdrivers, big screwdrivers, small hammer, silicon oil, duct tape, pen knife, letterman, pull through. Packed up in a nice little DPM pouch and keep it all in the boot.
  16. I've never had too much of an issue with my G39, only time I remember it slowing down was at STANTA Easter '13 when it snowed. Since then I wrap the mags in a thin sheet of foam and sniper tape, seems to work for me when it starts to get cold and nasty for GBBR users between October and April.
  17. My Evike order has cleared customs and I haven't had to pay a handling fee! First time for everything eh?! Other than that I picked up a Peli 1450 case off eBay for £2!! And a Surefire G2 for £26. So in all its looking pretty good!
  18. I wear what works for me. So my boots, combat trousers (MTP/DPM/OD), a multicam thigh holster and a tan magpul polo shirt. If its a bit colder I might throw a shirt or jacket on over the top. I've got a set of PLCE for milsim games and a lightweight chest rig for when I can be asked to carry all the magazines for my rifle.
  19. I managed to somehow use a flat head screwdriver on my WE G36 ones. But if its leaking then oil up the O-rings with silicon oil, and wrap some PTFE tape round all the valves then screw them back in. Then you should have a nice leak free no problems magazine
  20. An ASG KP09, which performs amazingly! Plus some more magazines, a steel charging handle, and a tightbore barrel for my WE G39 project. Oh and some 60p MBUS
  21. In the process of gearing up for Op Ironstrike, so I've ordered a fair few things; FG Airsoft WE G39 upgrade kit Magpul AAC Flashider (For the G36) G&G 30mm AP Warrior Shorty Double M4 Pouch Spray paint from Halfords Plasticuffs And when the next paycheck comes in, some G39 mags, some more 1911 mags, a new baseball cap and some cyalumes.
  22. Pumped for Ironstrike

  23. I'll second working in retail and the people with no manners. If I'm serving someone, why should I have to wait for them to finish their phone conversation so that they can pay? And then other people who also work in a shop who think that they can tell you how to do your job i.e. "Why have you closed the checkout? There are more than 3 people waiting." Do one.
  24. f*ck me! I just checked this post after about a year since I posted it and was amazed with some of the replies! I will point out a fair few of the Stirling blokes are serving or ex-forces and they prefer it to skirmishing - I personally can't stand being told about tactics by a kid who can barely hold the weapon never mind use it lol! I can see why some people might think of it as sad but hey - freedom of speech! OneOneBravo
