  1. Excuse the manky silicone encased Steel rod as balance weights !
  2. Yep fits perfectly, I'll go get a pic....
  3. My 2p worth since I've just finished my bar 10/ Mancraft build... When I first got the rifle, it looked well made out the box the seat was sticking but sorted that with a file, was shooting 380-400 fps and max range was 150' with .28's as it wouldn't lift any heavier The build.. Start at the front, orga 6.23, r-hopped, modded bucking for r hop, hop arm modded with much longer nub, standard hop unit. Then Mancraft kit using standard trigger as the spring in the HPA unit is way lighter than standard and it actually sets up well. Set it at 500 fps .20 Ive hopped it so with a tiny amount of hop it'll lift .40's so it'll lift much more without over hopping. I be been getting very good tesults up to s lazered 235' had maybe 300 rounds through it now and just been out in absolute nil wind set up a white for sale sign 600mm square lit well and pushed it to 315' with 7 out of 10 hits In short. Vsr/bar 10 with Mancraft and the right parts is possibly the very best set up one can build. I did everything myself and it still wasn't cheap, so add labour and it's starting to get pricy. But at the end of the day you pay for what you get.
  4. They seem like they have good costumer service so should sort it
  5. Mine was on the 6th I might have been lucky ?
  6. Just spotted this on FB, I've not had any issues as yet and I'm up to about 500 rounds through it...
  7. A pro what ? To be a decent competitive sniper you actually need to know what you are doing. It's easy to pray and spray a full hi cap mag in someone's general direction and hit someone, when you have one shot at a time from 150' with your bb being affected by windage, hop and leaves and branches it's a whole different game. Then there's sitting/ laying tit deep in mud and getting soaked to your pants for hours on end so you don't get spotted and lit up by 5 people and 1000'bb's You'll need to know how to strip and fix whatever breaks too, as it will. Then you need to be very handy with a pistol for when contact is too close or when you are about to get the drop on people from a few yards. It's nothing like American sniper.
  8. The wife might get me P* HPA eneine for my g36c 😜
  9. Get your UKARA, play a few games see what you want to do. You might end up wasting your pocket money if you haven't found your playing style first.
  10. Am I right in thinking that a tm gbb pistol hop rubber is the same as a TM vsr one ?
  11. Gas can get expensive but if you use Coleman propane outside and whatever generic none smelly airsoft smelly stuff indoors you save a bit. And then there filling your own bottles but that's another story.... If you were to get something like a TM hi-Cappa with a few mags, short stroke it to give an even quicker trigger response and to save a bit of gas and give it some mods and if you practice with it you'll be very competitive with it in a CQB environment
  12. You only need to ajust your aim if your weapon is A, crap B, not zeroed correctly! I know Because my g36 has had everything upgraded that can be so its as accurate as an airsoft weapon can be, And hear people call hit ! know what my zero distance is and how much to aim off at various distances, apart from the few flyers that one always get with airsoft, my shots land where I aim. Indoors anyway.
  13. I use a red dot from a gun shop works flawlessly and holds a zero, unlike cheap clones.
  14. Yeah they are nylon... I'm running a Mancraft HPA kid do the pull is extremely light and a quarter of ther Spring pull length .
  15. I just use a red dot sight with an under fixed led lenser torch that doesn't get used much... I love when other people use lasers, tracers and torches it gives me a target to shoot at in the dark and It means I don't need to use mine giving my position away. Imop anything that gives your position away is a waste of time. I know exactly where my bbs are going in the pitch black, exactly where my red dot is focused so I don't need tracers or other jazzy flashy stuff.
  16. With .43 it would need to be running at 899 fps to be 12ftlbs
  17. Before I machine up some up, does anyone know where I can get some cylinder guides for a jg bar 10, not the daft 3 mm wide standard ones that don't really give is any support but something more substantial, even a full length sleeve that goes in the receiver? I'm looking at a full length sleeve in the whole recever so there's absolutely no lateral play
  18. You don't even need to use heavier ammo to cheat the crono... You can use .20's and still get way lower results if you know how to.If someone's adimant they want to cheat they can
  19. Once I get my bar 10 hpa'd with all the other jazz that'll be going with it shooting at 500 fps ill get the lazer range finder out and get some real world measurements
  20. My modded g36 running 350 fps on .20 will hit a chest size target at 150' in nil wind 75% of the time. On fully auto bursts I can drop bb's from above with some success at pushing 200' but that's pot luck doing a second or so burst But that's not what I'm about... Bog standard jg bar 10 apart from a modded nub to lift heavier ammo running 400 on .20's I can shoot same chest size target out to 170 with .30's 90% of the time. Distances are lazer measured in perfect conditions
  21. I might try that stuff, my sciencer is 12" so adds weight to the front and unbalances it, plus I'm used to shooting real steel and find a heavier platform way more stable to shoot
  22. I'm looking for really heavy ammo, upwards of .60 Patrol base have welts but anything that says not to be used in tight bore barrels must be crap! So are there any uk retailers that you lot know of that might have some ?
