  1. I guess there's so much variation in products from different manufacturers I've found it's a bit of a "suck it and see" game when it comes to airsoft tuning
  2. I put a 110 in my mates gun that's the same, almost new with the same set up and it Crono at 400 spot on...
  3. The spring will have bedded in a 110 will take it to around 400 if there's no leaks anywhere and the internals are spot on
  4. I've just got a second hand asg tri shot for £20 with half a dozen shells, just to try out to see if I like them, I had a bit of a plink in the garden... Got the girlfriend who has ever used a gun to have a go and she could hit me at 30' do that's cool. Anyway I can't seen to find much info at all on them What's good what's not, what's people using?
  5. Hahahaha I'm using .28......Nuprols Normally use bastards but there were cheap Ffs.
  6. Last night my g63 started double feeding... Differences to gun since its started double feeding is a mosfet but I can't see that doing it ? Also my fuse went in it last night too... I'm not keen on removing midget as I'd have to do a total rewire and I'm running 11.1 so bad idea... I've read bucking problems could be it, maybe I've disturbed something when I had it apart, also read delay chips can be run as its upwards of 35 rps and possible that the selector plate is worn ? But it's only had maybe 10k bbs through it... So what say ye clever techy types
  7. I love people with lasers, torches and any other rubbish that gives me a target to hit where without all that flashy kit I wouldn't be able to see them
  8. Lonex G36 Hop Up unit PDI Barrel 6.8mm Prometheus bucking HSA R-hop HSA M-nub 110 spring Complete lonex gearbox, 18-1 gears shimmed with aoe sorted and lightened piston, can't remember what cylinder head I put in it 11.1v 30-50 c lipo & mosfet Lonex A1 motor That's all off the top of my head...
  9. I think I'll look into propane with out the smelly stuff, see if it's available...
  10. Or you could buy what ever you want for way less than your budget and get it modded of do it your self, I've got a jg g36c thats not very expensive but it'll put down 30-40 rps At about 150' in nil wind, which is pretty good due to the mods I've done.
  11. You mentioned the fire hazard, which to me meant you were un aware of green gas being just as much of a fire hazard, being basically the same stuff. As for the dirt, there's a filter that can be used inline that removes dirt partials down to so many thousand micron, that alivates the dirt factor. It does stink though !!
  12. Pretty much every gas used apart from duster gas as a propelent for airsoft is propane/Butaine based I normally use garder power up, that's 100%propane without the Smell and silicone oil added C and p From wiki Green Gas is used as a propellant for airsoft guns. It is an alternative source of power as opposed to spring- or motor-driven airsoft weapons. In 2004, it was determined by Carlton Chong (of Airsoft Innovations) through gas chromatograph analysis that green gas is in fact a mixture of propane, silicon oil, and odour modificants.[1] This discovery prompted his development of a propane adaptor, allowing users to administer their own green gas derivatives using retail propane and silicone oil.
  13. Take that saving and add it up over a year and it's a lot of cash. It seems we are way behind the U.S. And China like in most cases as it seems they've been doing this for years But we as a country like being wallet raped whenever we can so its not surprising. The only reason the Coleman cans are dispose is that the gas thet hold is only worth a few coppers making them not profitable enough to re use.
  14. Every time we fill a mag up we have a pressure transfer and we let propane escape in to the atmosphere as most gasses we use are propane based mixes without any agents added to make that propane smell
  15. All you are doing is transferring gas from one container to another, just like filling a lpg car The pressure doesn't need to be regulated Remember we are all using propane already just under different names in cheap Chinese gbb pistols we are all messing with it every day
  16. Pdi barrel and r hop (amongst other things) have transformed my g36 it'll lift .30's to the moon but R hopping is s royal pain in the ass to get perfect As for scope in a non dmr These are awesome http://www.jsramsbottom.com/products/red-dot--laser-sights-red-dot-sights/nsrs130-nikko-stirling-30mm-red-dot-sight-with-38-intergrated-mounts.html
  17. Well I've gone down the propane route and it's great! £ 8.50 per bottle and I've just ordered a $10 fitting to refill them from a big propane bottle making it 15% of the cost of gas from airsoft suppliers, it's a win win situation 👍🏻 Do it.
  18. Maybe strip it and look for any internal markings ?
  19. To be honest I can't stand the desert eagle both the real and the airsoft ones, they are for too big and cumbersome for a side arm, and I've got big hands and it's too big! the whole idea of a secondary is it should be easy to handle and practical, they aren't the real .50 AE is terrible to shoot, too heavy too big with a kick to it making target re accusion a bit of a pain plus it only has 7 rounds. It's a video game gun, nothing more.
  20. To be honest I'd rather stay with airsoft as I've had years playing with proper pistols and rifles and the single shot small bore weapons people in civvy street are a bit lame to be honest
  21. I must admit occasionally at our indoor cqb site we do have fully auto free for alls when it's just a few of us regulars and it's such a laugh, nothing better than cutting up your mates with 40 odd rps at 350fps within spitting distance 😂
  22. Yeah mate when I was getting stuff from patrol base a few weeks ago it seems that's the closest place but it's 2 hours away
