very good guide but start moderate - do all the stuff inside - most stock stuff is fine, mosfet aoe seals is what you need, then add motor or 11.1v after the donkey is done - sorted

Thanks for the links guys. I'm phasing out all my old SHS cylinders for cheaper ZCI ones. If you're looking for something just as good but cheaper try one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZCI-Airsoft-Steel-Anti-Heat-Cylinder-Type-2-1ST-CLASS-ROYAL-MAIL-/321791018672

Also if you PM me I'll do it for just £8, no reason to give nasty Ebay anymore money :-)

  8. Hi All, I love playing in woodland and have often played in CQB sites which are built with dirt mounds, sheds, tyres etc. But my problem is they always feel like an extra purpose built set area in which to hold a CQB game. Ive always loved the idea of playing in an abandoned industrial complex/housing area etc etc as if i was playing in an apocalyptic world. Wandered if anyone has played on a site which you could liken to this description, may be dreaming of an ideal world but don't ask don't get an all that. Any suggestions? Cheers

  11. Considering attending a mil-sim event this weekend, just cautious about it being full of over-enthusiastic wannabes. Anyone had experience of mil-sim?

      Colonel Kurtz

I had a worse-case scenario and lots of douche-bags on my team, and i didn't really enjoy the scenario. These are clearly a minority and I was just unlucky. Prob same mix as a normal skirmish but you're kinda forced to work together more. People take it more seriously, so there's more potential for people to argue etc. But there's also more potential for very enjoyable good teamwork. All milsims seem to be well organised/composed so if the game style/rules etc sounds appealing...

  14. i was considering doing this with mine as well, but then just ended up buying an entire new gun and leaving my UMP as more of a display item ahahha

Little tricky to fit but goes in raiders etc with crane stock OK

Might have some usual twin stick ones around going cheap as gone lipo which you should consider perhaps

    3. Chopper92

      Chopper92

How much better are the Lipos?

    4. Sitting Duck

      Sitting Duck

stock guns a little bit better perhaps but you are limited to volts 7.4 or jumping up to 11.1v

Life or LiFePo are in middle at 9.9v

But if/when you tweak a gun with more beefy motors you gotta go lipo coz old skool nimah or nicad's just don't have the grunt to cut it

  16. New Bulldog lightweight battle rig as arrived, very sexy indeed!

  17. New gun ordered, shame i cant play for a month now though !

  18. anyone know where i can get some digital woodland/marpat M4 mag pouches??

    1. Airsoft_Mr B

      Airsoft_Mr B

There aren't any real deal companies making any to my knowledge if you don't mind the dodgy non-genuine MARPAT pattern then TaiwanGun sells some. I'd imagine a few HK retailers will stock something similar as well. More likely to find AOR2 stuff as well

  19. I only ever stick them on when the store is out of stock, in the faintest hope someone may have what im after!
  20. Decided! Wanting to get a GC16 FFR 12" next !

http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=3389 Think we may looking at too different guns, as that's definetly got a silencer in there. Nevertheless cheers for your input and I'll look into it
    3. Sitting Duck

      Sitting Duck

Aahhhh you didn't say the SD very which appears to have silencer

I thought you meant the £150 GC16 30th had silencer.

To me it looks like the BOT 300 (polymer £170 gun)

And be careful coz looks like battery type might be special on SD aeg

    4. Sitting Duck

      Sitting Duck

Skip that no special battery its just ZOBAT8C2 is what they call twin stick nunchuk thingamajig

  21. GC16 FFR, APS SPR or Masada ACR?? i really cannot decide. Might have to sell something before i fund one of these though

  22. Anyone got APS rifle? how well do you rate them?

  23. The longer barrel hasn't affected this at all it has a folding stock and suppressor on it anyway, therefore the suppressor covers the extended barrel and then can always fold the stock in for better maneuverability. just wanted a bit more for those mid-range engagements.
  24. Okay so to properly increase the range ill have to look into getting a new cylinder? how would i go about checking if its the right one to give the correct air volume ratio? also will look into getting a new hop as the one that comes standard with the gun is pretty naff anyway. In terms of firing the gun is firing fine, just with the new barrel its firing 'hot' and getting this insanely stupid arc
  25. Hi all, just installed a new madbull 363mm tight bore barrell into my UMP with the intention of increasing the range. I have since created a new problem with the gun since swapping out the old smaller barrell(half the length of the new one). Which is the fact the BBs seem to be firing out the barrell fine but then after about 15 spiralling very noticeably into the dirt. The arc on them is simply outrageous. had the hop out, re-installed it etc etc... and all seems to be together perfectly. Yet cant find the problem for this. Any suggestions ? Is it something other than the hop up and barrell which could be effecting this? Cheers
