Just spent xmas cash on a condor chest rig, hydro pack and bib for this lot. Wanna slim it down take bits off. Played strikeforce with just vipee belt a few weeks ago. I'd post a pic but my phone is being difficult
-
I have a Viper one and it too has a hole on either side where you can attach the drop leg directly to the belt not the molle. Not skirmished with it yet but got the mil tec suspenders which clip nicely onto the loops.

Which football team do you support?

What's Foot ball? -
My Ashbury is finally working with .43 rockets but is with my brother for a paint job atm. If I remember when it comes back then I shall upload some pewpew porn
-
So far their all a bit on the small size but i'll have another look at Zero one. Just found there's an airgun shop in Swindon so might pop down there and have a look as well.

I want to get a scope for my Ashbury sniper but being airsoft I want it to look good but low magnification. Unlike airsoft I dont want to spend a lot of money. I've seen a few on ebay around the £20-£30 mark but they dont seem to look very long or chunky. Suggestions?

Came from sup air and have no idea help lol
Tramples replied to Goosebaby's topic in New Players & Arrivals
Same situation but been airsofting 6 months now, came from Sup Air, No Limit Bridgend, into softing because my knees cant take being driven into the floor anymore. Thought I can strip and rebuild an ego right down to the gasket on the regulators how hard can an airsoft gat be. Ummm. 2 hours to strip a G&G M16 5 hours to get it back together and working via youtube. It gets easier but a bit hairy at times. 3 site visits in over 2 months for UKARA then you don't have to get something that's coloured like a paintball gat. Plus you get to see what everyone else uses and get some hands on time if your friendly Transfer kit all I still use are my knee pads, sold everything else except for a mask. On field I use balistic glasses and a mesh face guard for close quarter stuff. Lets you breathe and see while being comfortable, games are longer than Sup air. 3 mins vs at least 30 mins upto 2 hours at some sites or 48 hour milsim if you fancy. Load out wise get it as you like. Plenty of army surplus all over the UK. I use an osprey load carrier for my pouches, sling for my M16 and holster for the glock. If I can ever get the Sniper working right then I ditch the vest. Cqb i use a £30 spring shotgun and thats it. -
I just got a Double Eagle Springer trishot for £40 all plastic, similar but with stock. It's EPIC for CQB. People were getting nervous to be around it and the fps was only 280. I had 2 kills with 1 shot at one point = massive cheesy grin. Build quality is terrible though. It lasted all day but took it out to clean it when I got home and the stock fell off then the pistol grip came loose. Done some threadlock and a bit of tightening so see how it lasts next time out. Even with these failings for £40 well worth it.

It's in bits again. SO got to 1st skirmish, worked for crono, worked to zero, 1st game 3rd shot jammed. Kept jamming after that. This was 2 months ago so only now had time to dismantle again. What do I find, a BB proper stuck in the barrel which somehow seemed to catch the hop rubber and get that in the barrel as well. Barrel itself filthy after i'm guessing 100 shots. It's a tightbore barrel so i'm thinking getting an Orga widebore barrel. Anyone used one of these? £62 is a lot for a barrel but if it fixes the issue it's worth it.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Just got my 4xacog from Hong Kong and pleasantly surprised. All metal, heavy and clear sight picture all for £35. Also got a double eagle 56 coming cos it was £35 and I couldn't resist some pump action....... -
I use a UN armor cover and helmet for the job. Got shot less. I play as well so only take photo's on the last game using a 300mm lens so I don't need to get in close so hopefully not giving positions away. So far all feedback has been positive. Airsofters are posers, everyone likes their mug doing something 'OPERATOR' looking, I know I do

I use UPS, cheaper and quicker and don't have to declare anything.

Hmm ordered for next time I service. I used Gun grease on everything metal after the strip down except on the cylinder and o rings for which I used Monkey Spunk, look it up. It's what i've used for years on Paintball servicing but like a tool I passed, what I had left, on when I sold up. All in all it's shooting fine and just had to strip the outer again to replace the C clip on the blow back piston since I lost the last one. Lets see how long it stays on this time. If it gives me more grief i'll remove the fake shiny bolt bit and put on a new dust cover because the current one pops open a lot. Just picked up an angled foregrip for £10 so all I need to complete my M4 is a cheapo ACOG and some paint to touch up some of the scuffy bits. Might go for the desert worn look.

SO 1st time stripping my G&G Tr15 Top Tech for a bit of greasing and general curiosity. 1st time stripping any AEG in fact. Lost the C-clip on the blowback piston but i'll go find one next week. From start to finish 4 hours...... It'll be quicker next time. Got a better idea what i'm doing now. Questions Is there any point upgrading the air nozzle? Would it make any difference? What about cylinder heads and stuff, worth changing? Anybody know if there's much space in the upper receiver behind the blowback piston for a weight? Thinking a rubber backstop and a lump of lead shaped to fit. The fire selector was a pain in the arse to get back in and working right, think it's still off a bit. Any tips? And the motor didn't want to go back in. Bit of fiddling and in it popped but the plate at the bottom with the motor height adjustment was also a pain. The adjuster screw just doesn't want to screw back in smoothly. grrrrrr

Need HELP finding face protection!
Tramples replied to AirsoftgoesAli's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
you can get a frame and strap for the bolle rush glasses which turn them into googles. Think it was £5.99 off ebay but it is Bolle branded kit. Not had a chance to use the kit yet but the glasses for me are great bit of kit. -
depending on how accurate your Gat is I use to use a Blank CD case filled with plasticine. Probably a bit over kill for airsoft as I used it to stop .22 Airgun pellets silently. Airsoft in the Flat is a box with an old blanket in it.
-
Yey Firesupport. Asked them to find some screws for my ASG Ashbury due to some stripped threads, a week later an envelope turned up with not only the screws but all the other little bits that go in the hop up. Happy days. Now i've got to strip the whole thing down again booooo

I saw someone on you tube do a nerf sentry gun with facial recognition. Can't find the link on my phone but may be worth a look at for ideas.

Latest It's WORKING Replaced HOP UP rubber for Mad Bull Accelerator Rubber Replaced HOP UP Screws with 2.5mm diameter screws from B&Q cut down to size Replaced Detent springs with 9mm from ebay (lost one stretched the other) New Magazine from Airsoft World Just need to get it on the range and crono it. 10p grouping at 10m indoors atm Next Jobs will be paint job, Proper scope and some flip up sights but after range and crono
-
The joys of screws, found a few stripped heads so after swearing at them for a bit finally manged to remove them and loose a spring Grrrrrr. Anyway found that B&Q do a 2.5 diameter screw. Bit long but attack then end with the dremel and they fit fine. So bought a Action Army hop up unit from Airsoft World because it's VSR compatible, guess what, doesn't fit down the tube of the ashbury and the hop adjustment is on the other side of the unit so even if it did fit i'd have to drill a new hole in the body. So just waiting for replacement springs (from ebay) to turn up and I can fix the issue where I lost the detent springs from the original hop up..... At least it cocks properly now but still some double feeding but can't test properly yet until I fix the springs

Ready for Sunday. Not gone Gucci yet spent all my money on guns. The Ashbury is on the bench stripped down because needs some fiddling and i'm going to respray it Olive Green when it's working right. Vest is Osprey Load Carrier after it's failed dose of dylon green but haven't had time to paint it or experiment with another dye I got my hands on yet.
-
Still looking for a manual or strip down guide. On a little in house firing was getting the odd jam, probably a good greasing should fix it but been reading the magazine feeding is a bit of a fiddle so start there.
-
It probably needs a new hop I was told and I think I'll put a longer barrel in that goes to the end of the suppressor but then it won't fit in the gun bag.
-
So sold my air rifle and picked up an ASG Ashbury 2nd hand from ye old facebook. Don't suppose anyone has a manual or knows of where I can download one. Tried ASG website and got some datasheets but that doesn't really help at this point. Also minor issue of the bb's not making it out of the silencer occasionally. Probably widen it a bit or take it off and fit a 14mm silencer instead.

I just got the xl version from a Facebook sale and the only plastic I found is the stock. Surprised by the weight in fact. Had the same issue with stock when a Facebook ad popped up with just what I was looking for plus plenty of extra bits. Looking forward to taking it out at the weekend.
