      Nothing fits properly. Magazine well is shite, tolerances are all off. Bloody annoying as it looks good. Just needs to be modded loads to actually fit

    Both VSR's built, Gspec is 389 +/- 1 and SPR is 418 +/- 3. Need to grab myself an orga for the VSR and a slightly stronger spring for the SPR

    In regards to upgrading the L96, Airsoftpro.cz have a load of great upgrades for nearly all models/brands of snipers and they cost a lot less than PDI too.

    Any major difference between the JG Gspec with metal hop and the one with a plastic hop? I'll be swapping the hop, but wondered if anyone knew of any other differences

      Slightly different receiver too. I think the TM has two cylinder guides whilst the JG one has one.

      it's the Gspec one, I'm guessing then that at the normal parts fit.

      Yup. 100% compatible from what I've found. Also no crimped cylinder.

    Just to backup what Poffrink is getting at, the upgrades I listed will let you use the rifle at that FPS at an alright performance level. But to make the same point as Prof, for a true performing sniper build there are pages and pages of guides on upgrades/mods/tuning etc which are worth reading to get the best out of any rifle.

    If you buy from TG, they'll downgrade to whatever FPS you need for free

    Get yourself a VSR clone and airsoft pro parts. Trigger pack (includes trigger, spring, spring guide and piston), then Action Army hop. Failing that a well/warrior with a few parts will do too. Namely barrel, bucking and chamber. Taiwangun is your best bet, cheap, good service, no tax and arrives in 3 working days usually.

    I have a dumb question, Ive got a MK12 on the way which has a crane stock, is it possible to install a full stock?

      take the stock off and look at the buffer tube, there is normally a cap on the end and then a screw or bolt holding it on, if you can do that you can install 99% of stocks.

      The LayLax bolt is silly money though. Action Army do an excellent G-Spec bolt handle if you want something more ergonomic :S
