Am I being dim or does the answer to 'Why are we rebranding?' Not actually answer the question?

I believe they're basically airsoft gearboxes, but a lot of plastic rather than Chinesium, no hop unit, and tin foil barrels.

Well we tried changing the spring and have managed to break the gun, tried putting a M105 in it It won't fire now, even with the old spring back in. Its been left at the local site for the tech to look at it next week and fix it, they suspect that the mosfet is turning off to protect the gearbo as it may have stripped some teeth from the piston due to the spring being too strong Lessons learned, and looks like I will be without it until I get back from ny hoilday at the end of the month Luckily I have my other M4 I can use for next weeks outdoors game

Why are they so cheap? Surely they're not that mechanically different from regular AEGs? Or am I mistaken?

Just buy a chrono and set the NPAS yourself, 10 minute job and the chrono will probably cost you less than a tech will charge. Plus you have a chrono for future use. The hop is best set at a site as you'll need the distance to see what the BB is doing . Again it's a 10 minute job at most.

Will we be selling the same BBs in the future? Yes absolutely. We will be selling the same BBs under the brand Redux Airsoft. Over the years we have built up a very good rapport with the owner of the factory producing the BBs and we will continue to use these going forward. This will not change. We will also be selling a larger range and focusing on being the best priced high quality BB on the market. Not only this but soon we will be releasing our own parts and other accessories, along with a range of upgraded airsoft guns specced out by Luke (more information on this coming in the next few weeks / months). Will I keep my loyalty points? Yes of course you will. These will be available as normal on your account. The rebrand will not affect this or have a negative impact on our pricing. In fact you will have a larger variety of products to spend your points on in the near future. When will this rebrand happen? We already have our rebranded BBs on the way so in the near future you will be seeing them coming. We are also working on some other parts along with our modified gun range which will be available in the near future. Just sent a RIF via PF48 £13 and change

I have had work done by BZ Tech, and it was extremely good. They informed me when they received my pistol, logged it in so it took its place in the queue and got it back to me after 7 days. Ian at Firesupport is also an excellent tech, but they are always very busy, turn around time 6 weeks on average.

Bz tactical and fubar bundy have in house techs I think. But worth calling ahead to confirm they can do what you need

Likely, but they're still clearly RIFs, and I see RIF paintball "markers" are also freely available for sale. Yarp, it's utterly ridiculous, and it seems that we're now the only RIF-based hobby that self-polices in any way. Australia are all gel-blasters now after even airsoft guns fell foul of their fun-sponges. My real concern is that some Minster looking for a quick headline "discovers" all the various RIFs for sale, and yells "Ban 'em! Ban 'em all! And ban private possession as well!" We should enjoy it while it lasts, I guess.
