    Can’t say it’s really ever bothered me. I’d much rather wear a box than the ex-military pelvic protector some are suggesting, I wore one regularly - like wearing inflexible, thick nappy pants, chafed everywhere. Better than losing your Frank & Beans to an IED though I suppose.

    Turns out this place is only a 10 minute drive from me, and I needed some new batteries to go with my new acquisitions. Not the easiest place to find, despite it being a tiny Welsh village, I've driven that way load's and never noticed it. Its a really nice small business, with really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely go back soon for more supplies. They knocked me up a couple of batteries with deans connections while I waited and gave me sensible advice on looking after and maintaining my batteries. They even brought out a few different ones to try so i could get the biggest I could fit in the rifs. I know they popular with you guys and I can see why. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for batteries or any other parts.

    I know that the air cartridge (brocock ban) was a complete failure as only a small percentage that the police thought were in circulation got accounted for. In the House of Lords a few years ago they were discussing the lever release rifles as that law was changing, one of the members obviously knew his stuff and reminded his colleagues that compensation would be needed to avoid the farce of the air cartridge ban were 60-80 thousand went underground.

    Selling my JG AKS-74U EBB. It shoots well and chrono’d around 340–350fps on Delta Armoury 0.20s, cycles fine and is sort of usable as-is, but the selector is worn and will need replacement/shimming ASAP for proper reliability. 🔧 Selector behaviour: Works fine going from safe → semi and safe → full-auto. If moved safe → semi → full-auto, the trigger produces a nasty click and doesn’t engage properly. 📦 Included in the bundle: JG AKS-74U EBB rifle 2x high-cap mags Original NiMH battery & charger (functional, but a LiPo is recommended for best performance) 💷 Price: £70 ono Retail is around £130–150 new, so this is priced fairly given the selector issue. Great for someone who wants a working gun they can fix up without much hassle. 🔄 Trades / swaps considered: I’d also be happy to trade or reduce price for useful AK extras — e.g. mid-cap mags, a rotary speedloader + AK adapter, dovetail → 20mm optic mounts, or similar bits of kit.     If I remember correctly, you can fit 2 Bizon mags into a PKM pouch. I don't think I've seen any specific EMR pouches for the Bizon as it was phased out for the Vityaz pretty quickly 😂

    Dodgy b#stards the lot of them, while im not up on the precise laws on this situation, the government would have benefited via taxation when these products, & all their ancillaries, when they were bought, so if they then want them handed over, for whatever reason, those who lawfully comply should have been compensated/rewarded, especially as pre ban there was no registration process on these, so nothing to stop anyone selling them to the highest criminal bidder, rather than give them away for nothing. But what do we know compared to the crooks that run the country 😉 (IMHO, not the forums)

    @Tommikka - Just had a search of Laysick, is this company still around as cant find any available trousers apart from two Ebay listings? Did a bit more of a search and looks like theres not really much option for thick trousers in the airsoft/paintball range. I may need to do some more digging around this as this would be the last thing I need to start skirmishing as I know which face mask I am getting.
