It reay pees me off when peope post repies, other people refernce it then then they delete the original post! You read the quited post and realised that you've missed something and have to go back to see what you've missed ony to reaise that its been deeted!!!! Like on this thread! For 11.1 thats probably a sound ratio. I would say the non-maple leaf nubs can sometimes be a bit off-square, so i'd typically go for the maple leaf branded one. If cash is shorter then an external mosfet like an ab++ or warfet could be substituted.

Kinda railroads the options into only a Rhodesian fit, on top of just looking bad. Like, they only used that paint because they couldn't buy real paint. Absolute pain in the arse to strip it off without damaging the underlying finish. Not to mention Rhodesia being a bit shit to do an impression of in the first place.

So, progress is being made. I bought a used DE M904E, which was in a worse state than I'd assumed, but it had its stock gears replaced with 13:1 SHS ones (short stroked by two teeth, I'd rather they had been as is) so there's one less thing to buy. I'd spent far more than I wanted to, but the inside of the gearbox was a bit of a shit show, and remaining parts will arrive soon for me to crack on and hopefully get it running ready for the Red Alert Battlesim Lite next weekend. My attempts with painting / rattle cans continues...
