What’s the make and model of this may I ask? Also, faux or real wood?
  5. I have sent well over 150 RIFs with parcel force and only ever had one damaged - probably my fault for poor packaging. The basic cover is £150, and that applies. You can get enhanced cover on the accessories, so actually with your price attribute the rest of the value to the hard casse, mags, etc, and you would reach a full amount, but you would push the postage cost up over £20. They are super reliable, it is so well tracked that it’s almost impossible for correctly addressed and labelled items to go missing

  7. You could buy it as individual parts, wasn't advisable to, but you could. (MLEMart did it as individual bits)

MCX style stock and Picatinny adapter with Q/D point.I purchased this stock and picatinny mounting for use on my Wolverine,my friend uses one and convinced me it's the way to go.I tried it out twice, never had call to fold it and decided it wasn't for me.It is as new and complete ready to fit.Price as usual includes post and fees (where applicable).

    £60

  9. What gearbox? They're gas blowback replicas. How does a shorter barrel put more stress on bearings? God I hope this is ChatGPT vomit because it makes zero sense.
  10. Hi, is the folding stock easy to fit ? Many thanks
  11. When was this originally purchased and what part number is it?
  12. Yeah I thought so too, 99% sure you should only be able to change the gas piston not the other thing??? I'm pretty sure these come with the spring and guide if this is a complete kit? Confusing. I know W&S sell a steel bolt set but that's just the bolt and nothing else that comes with that... Best bit is though, these aren't rare... You can legit buy them from Asian retailers for cheaper even with shipping!! https://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/W-S-Airsoft-GHK-AK-Steel-Bolt-Kit-Type-1.html You are indeed correct, I'm wondering when this was originally bought now

In good condition, don't look really to have been used in the field, but there are marks on the baseplates, so not perfect.

  22. When deciding between the VFC URGI 10.3 and the VFC AK74M, both are solid choices, but consider that the URGI’s shorter barrel and compact design might put a bit more stress on internal parts like the gearbox bearings due to the more aggressive handling and tighter spaces. The AK74M, with its longer barrel and classic design, tends to have slightly more stable internals, including bearings that may endure less strain under typical use. If you prioritize maneuverability and compactness, the URGI is great but be mindful of regular maintenance on bearings and gearbox parts. For a more traditional feel with potentially longer bearing life, the AK74M could be the safer bet.
  23. **** Not a question as such, but just to help you a bit, postage with Parcel Force 48, which is the only service you can use to post this in the UK, will only cost you £12ish, can’t remember actually if it’s £11.40, or £12.20, but it’s no more than that. Booked online, using the drop off at the post office option. And don’t take the enhanced comp cover as it does not cover Airsoft RIFS
  24. @EvilMonkeeDidn't these come as one piece too? as in the only thing you screwed on was the silver gas plug? This looks like the stock bolt?

  26. You're using the stock, 8.4 nimah batteries? If so, that , slightly discharged batteries and not enough of a trigger pull is the combo you're getting , it's pretty well known for stock tm recoils. I suspect if you switch it to full auto rather than smacking it then it'll start as well. Essentially what you have is exactly what you're describing, not enough juice is getting to the motor to turn the gears enough and it's stopping just before firing (used to be referred to as lock up). Normally, you're absolutely right to run it stock, a TM especially however this is one of those things that are just crap. The stock batteries are crap and there is no recouping your money for them. My advice would be to buy some 7.4 lipos and use those, You'll either need to convert the rif or buy a converter. IF you can solder 2 bits of wire together, convert it yourself, there are videos (probably from eagle6) on how to do this on youtube. It's easy if you can solder. If you can't solder or are too intimidated to, then some retailers (I think fire support do) that sell a converter. There are other methods to solve this. You can try really hard to give the trigger a good pull every time, however the batteries likely aren't up to the job, they were probably sitting in the retailers inventory for years, so while they might be new to you, they could be 5-10 years old. You can fit or have fitted a mosfet, the Gate Titan is the current one, this is somewhere in the region of £100-£170 (depending on model) plus labour (been a while since I looked), but it is pretty awesome. If you're doing this and paying someone to, then I'd consider a spring upgrade too, even if just an m95 or m100 as this is a gearbox open job. Where abouts are you based?
