I'd use the term "retailer" very loosely with this guy, I'd say more of a tinkerer who thinks he's cornered the market with his homemade "product", which to be fair I think he has. If the market was "overpriced products that would definitely never sell on afuk", he's definitely killing it lol. Dragons Den ? 🤣

Yep I posted the wrong link, hitman's is the one

Make: WE (not 100% sure, as there are no markings. After looking at reference pictures, I'm pretty sure they are WE) Model: Glock, full sized (both have ambidextrous magazine release notches) Condition: Used, both fully functional. No.07 is highly used, etched with a previous owners name (?). No.08 is aesthically newer looking, but with signs of use. Price / Payment: No.07 - £12.50 / No.08 - £15.50. Together - £25.00. Prices include postage & PayPal fee's. Pictures: Attached Notes: Both are leak free and completely stock, accept for the Magpul style base plates. Paint pen markings will be removed before sale. Reason for sale; they dont seem to like my customised TM G17, but may work on stock TM's. Although, not guaranteed. Swaps for a 150% glock hammer spring or TM 1911 MEU magazine(s).£25

It looks like Cyma marking. https://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/products/two-tone-colt-m4a1-keymod-airsoft-rifle-short-blue/

They look like same markings that are on the golden eagle M4 series of riffles.

The motor is what makes all the noise tbh, it seems a very efficient motor makes less noise. I may consider a NBB pistol as my garden is very small, only about 12 yards long, but AEGs are just more fun

Pretty clear based on the multitude of listings he's a pisstaking retailer selling his product, but by god does it look shit, and it's definitely overpriced AF. Arduino Nano's even at overpriced retailers are £13, the RFID reader is about £7, the screen is usually around £15. There are a multitude of free projects on this theme, even the custom PCB won't add up to enough to justify the near 200% markup for a "Prototype".

The paid promotions in reviews really puts me off. So many reviewers for other products out there that get paid from the manufacturer to do a review they like especially in my other interest of cars, so many car YouTubers I refuse to watch as the endorse terrible products just so they get a pay day from the manufacturer. Makes them dishonest reviews then.

The f2000 would probably get a vote. Reasonably long barrel for less muzzle pop, plastic body to dampen the noise and most of the noise being cradled by the shooters body is a pretty good recipe for quietness. That said, it isnt that quiet as the user given your ear is right next to the box so i'm mostly relying on the comments of others. Generally when it comes to quietness its usually hpa's and gas non-blowbacks (mk23, revolvers etc) that get mentioned, where you can be standing 6 foot away from the shooter and the sound of the bb's hitting the target is more audible than the gun.

Managed a half day at dirty dog in this ungodly bloody heat. Absolutely class time on the field as always and a happy first outing for my cyma aks74u which ran like an absolute dream even if all the zenitstyle furniture makes it weigh like a battle rifle. Might be time to pick up some classic wood grips. Great sportsmanship from everyone with none of the all too common dramas that come from a day on the field. Only unpleasant part was learning even if it's hot to wear a mouth guard when a ricochet BB landed in my open mouth. I will admit I was relieved when I realised it wasn't a tooth. If anyone hasn't checked out dirty dog and it's somewhere reachable absolutely recommend it. Just maybe wait till it's not heat stroke weather 🥵

Dunno about "as standard" but shimming and motor height can make a big difference to noise. Also gear/motor combo changes that speed up the cycle time seem to help - the noise might be the same in volume but occurs over a much shorter period so seems quieter. Obviously not much use if blasting away on auto though. Of the group of people I Airsoft with, the quietest AEG is probably my brothers G36, maybe the polymer body helps?

I'm just wondering what are the quietest AEGs, and what makes them quiet? My Cyma M14 is pretty loud to use in my garden and I don't want to bring attention to myself when just plinking at home. Are other particular guns much quieter as standard?

My latest acquisition... A Kw15k pistol run with my ratnik loadout... Just need to wait for the holster to arrive and the magazine pouches so I can add them to my 6SH117 -
