TexasDiorite
I was looking at this one for a while (https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/delta-armory-da-b15-etu-bravo-tm-mk18-mod-1-m4-ar-15-aeg?fv=22673) Has anyone had any problems with it or got any good sugestions? Supporters Rogerborg Posted April 15 Supporters Share Posted April 15 Ahoy and welcome. It's got all the good stuff, and decent polymer bodies are fine. Alternatives would be the Double Eagle M9XX series, or any of the Specna Arms with a fire control system. The FLEX range offer phenomenal value for money, although the motor in the Delta Armory (sic) may be better. There's no standard for what "high torque" means, which is why I buy aftermarket. You're really spoiled for choice in M4s at the moment, and pretty much anything offered by Patrol Base - not you, NUPROL - will work. Avoid the very cheapest CYMA M5xx guns (because of the toytown plastic), pick whatever you like the look of, and pull the trigger. TexasDiorite
Thanks man, do you know of any outstanding problems or issues with internal or external structures with the Delta Armory DA B15?

The problem is that every individual rifle is different because "Airsoft Tolerances". One person could have a completely different experience with the exact same rifle. Airsoft QC is crap and it doesnt necessarily get better the more you pay. You could look on the classifieds for something that has a better spec and in theory, because it's been used before you at least know it works. But you could also have a seller that is lying to you. Buying new you could end up with a lemon and you have to attempt to send it back, but many Airsoft shops will fight tooth and nail to blame the fault on you. As an example, (And a shameless plug). I am selling a New Old Stock Dytac M4 for £140, Aluminium Reciever, very solid build, its essentially a gussied up Cyma. I have fired it to make sure it works, but beyond that, I wouldn't provide any warranty as a private sale. But the price is about 60% of the new price that a shop would charge, but they in theory provide a warranty. So it's priced accordingly. There are no guarantees. And be prepared to pay extra on top to get issues fixed and parts replaced. Edited April 16 by Asomodai Rogerborg

I haven't heard anything bad about the Delta Armory brand, but neither do I put a premium on brand names - looking at you, G&G. Personally I'd go with a FLEX and run it on 11.1V. But if you're happy with the value proposition of the Delta Armory, and if you get a good example, then it's the right choice for you.

Cannonfodder Posted Thursday at 07:18 Share Posted Thursday at 07:18 Welcome. I haven't personally owned any Delta Armory guns so I don't have first hand experience but they appear to be a a decent brand. For that price you're spoiled for choice when it comes to AR15s and the polymer bodies can be just as sturdy as their metal counterparts but the lighter weight will be noticeable at the end of the day. As @Rogerborg posted, avoid the cyma 5xx range as I swear the bodies are made from melted down ready meal trays. A shame really as the gearboxes are excellent, I put easily over 200k rounds through mine completely stock with no mosfet with a 11.1v lipo and it didn't skip a beat
