Good spring pistol

I’m looking for a good spring pistol to use for target practice. Currently it’s too cold to shoot my Raven EU17 fully. I don’t mind if it’s full plastic, I’d rather a good plastic springer than a cheap die cast springer built like a biscuit tin.

The more moving parts (Hammer, etc) or other realistic features the better here.

Unlikely you'll get too many realistic moving parts on springer, especially if it's half decent for target shooting, as those bits aren't really needed.

@heroshark prob has the best spring pistol collection, I'm sure he'll enlighten us as to what's worth having, & @BenJackson will be able to track it down for you.

Even if you run it on higher pressure gas?

I’m on nuprol 2.0 and 3.0 could work, but the window of use for it is pretty slim as the weathers beginning to heat up and in about a month we’ll probably be back on green gas weather again.

I heard the HFC springers have working slide catches and hammers, I was wondering if they’re actually good or if it’s just gimmicks that break after a few shots.

There are some really nice models. Umarex px4 is a nice piece for features but there are probably a few similar examples. I'm shifting a few of mine if you are in the market.

Kwc desert eagle is a very detailed model as it's based on the gbb version and shoots pretty nicely even has adjustable hop.

Or you could just sell the Raven, & put the money towards the TM equivalent  ? 😏

And a springer for good measure 😉. There is something lovely about plinking with springers just a handful of beebs and your ready to go.

Or buy something on CO2.

For pure target practice, and assuming that your garden is sufficiently sized/orientated to mitigate additional hazard from the higher joules output, you might want to instead look the direction of .177 pistols. Plenty of semi auto (co2 powered) .177 steel BB firing pistols (which are generally reasonably accurate, at least in comparison to plastic BB firers), and even semi auto .177 lead pellet firers with rifled barrels.

Raven/Vorsk CO2 mag and some sparklets bulbs. Made my EU18 almost “hot”.
