novioman
Used them for the first time a few weeks ago. Only a small part for one of my pistols. Cheaper to buy from them even with postage than the U.K. shops. Posted out quickly, a few days later it was leaving Taiwan, and 2 more days later I had it. So ordered another small part from them 9 days ago, same as before got a tracking number 2 days later, but this one is still not recognised by RM, emailed Boomarms 3 times, no response. So unfortunately I have had to contact PayPal and they have given me a temporary refund and have contacted Boomarms for a response. Found this very strange, in the course of a few weeks what appeared to be a good company to use is behaving badly, and according to RM a tracking number was created for the parcel but it’s never actually entered the postal system. Been getting the same message from tracking with the number they gave me. Rogerborg
JimFromHorsham
Have spent £££’s with BoomArms , never an issue so I’d say just chalk it up as blip , annoying yes , but I’d perhaps of give them a little more time given their excellent track record with my own personal orders . also , I never order anything from HK I need urgently ( which is nothing because it’s just airsoft stuff ) and never expect an Amazon prime service 👍🏼 . hitmanNo2
Agreed. Boom has probably had the most money from me from all the HK shops. I wouldn't worry. Sometimes the tracking system takes a while to update. Going to PayPal for a 9 day old order is a little much... Mr Dellski

I only have a temporary refund, if Boomarms reply to PayPal and can explain what’s happened the sale will go ahead. Think it’s fair of me to involve PayPal as I have emailed them 3 times without any reply, and RM said the parcel with that tracking number is not in the system so can’t have been sent as yet. They have until March 3rd to reply so think that’s more than fair. Edited February 20 by novioman
Mr Dellski
I have to chime in too. Have also had loads from Boomarms. Small bits to full slide kits - all successfully delivered. Sometimes things come faster, sometimes they don't. But they have always turned up 👌

MistakenMexican
Boom arms is basically a guy running a shop out of his flat in HK. So he’s inundated with messages, emails and all the admin of running a shop. He’s only human and misses the odd email and gets a few orders wrong from time to time. in my experience, he always makes it right. I did a massive order with him last year, and he got it wrong to the tune of $300. It took him about 3 months to source the parts (as they’d all sold out by the time we agreed a resolution), but he made good on all the stuff he’d got wrong. i suspect he’s made a typo on the tracking number or he’s holding out for the last item in your order to come in stock. I have only ordered one item. PayPal have not had a reply from him, them, however many people work at boomarms. If it’s just a typo on the tracking number where is the item, it was posted 11 days ago. Just looked at Boomarms reviews on Trustpilot, 4 out of the 5 are poor, and recent. Wrong items sent, poor communication leading to emails being ignored.

Yes quite possibly, not a great testament though, 5 reviews, 4 saying how bad they are. Anyway I have a temporary refund and if they don’t answer PayPal by March 3rd the case will be closed in my favour. This. It’s quite hard to encourage people to post good reviews. No encouragement required for people who are disgruntled. As Bryn has shown us. Mr Dellski Posted Wednesday at 22:32 Share Posted Wednesday at 22:32 I have no issues with them. In fact I’ve just raised a new order this evening:

Just didn’t imagine it was a one man band running a business out of his flat, assumed it was a retail business with a few staff looking at his website. Update, heard from him, item has now been despatched, no reason given why it was 12 days since him giving me the tracking number and the item actually being posted. Anonymoose Posted Thursday at 12:28 Share Posted Thursday at 12:28 I've bought from them a few times and they've been really good. With one order i got sent a hop chamber for a GHK and not a VFC. I sent an e-mail but got no reply, sent another a few days later and got a quick reply. By that time i'd made another order. True to their word the correct replacement was sent. novioman and Mr Dellski

I’m fairly sure it’s one bloke and maybe his wife helping. In all the years I’ve been dealing with boomarms, I’ve only ever heard from the same person. Also his return address is a residential flat. WGC shop on the other hand is a multi person operation with several employees. Talked to a number of them over the years.

Must be a big flat to store all the stock he has on his website, or perhaps he has a lock up or something to keep his stock in. Years ago a shop called Airsoft Dynamics did the same thing in this country. Had someone living in Akihabara Japan that would drop ship most of the stuff to them. If Boom Arms is anywhere near Kwong Wah Street in Hong Kong he will have about 30 places to source stock from most of whom do not have an English presence on the internet.
