Stock really, nothing fancy - iron sights, a few had the torch mount handguard. In my second career, they were used with shorty mags and, I think, EoTech 512 before we converted to the 416A5, although they were removed from inventory before I joined the team. Darkmikey22 Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Latest arrival. With a massive thanks to a very good member on this forum. The L100A1 (G3KA4) The real rifle was seen (and well pictured) in use with UKSF in Afghanistan. But was documented in use well before that. Mine is the LCT LC3K. It's set up in the configuration as seen in use in afghan. The flash hider had to be specially made by LCS Engineering. The grip pod has been stripped out, and turned into a battery box. This is due to the railed handguard leaving no room. It also features; real * handguard * scope mount * rear sight. At the moment the dbal is busted. But will be replacing that when I can. Heres a warning to those looking at doing similar!!!!!. The issue is that LCT isn't 1:1. So the real rail sits slightly too short. So trying to figure out how to get around that. Now just need to weather it a bit more. And may even add a very slight dusting of tan in the nooks and crannies. The other small thing is picked up a busted airsoft Claymore mine. The american designation is M18/M33. Still trying to find out the "L" designation is. ButcherBill, Anonymoose and Davet 3

Popular Post Darkmikey22 Posted March 15 Author Popular Post Posted March 15 (edited) Update.... So, these next two have been on my search list for a very long time. So, first up L131A1.... (Glock 17 gen 4) So this pistol eventually replaced the ageing L9 browning, with the gen 3 being in service with the sas before that!. Mine, is the very early fully traded and hard to find Stark Arms/VFC gen 4 glock. What makes this stand out over other brand glocks, is the markings!. So the later umarex/vfc , tm/guarder and GHK glocks, all come with the U.S glock markings. The Stark Arms comes with the correct European markings and German proof marks as found on the real L131A1. The only other brand close to this is the early WE fully traded glocks. Only issue with the WE glocks are, that the lower and upper look and marked a gen 4. But the recoil spring is still the slim Gen 3 type. I have also fitted real sights and lanyard adaptor, along with a replica QR code as also seen ok British glocks. Only thing left to do on mine is get the L131 and NSN details engraved on the lower. Top 2 pics are from the real L131 Last pic is mine. 2nd one is L104A1 (HK69) This was brought in for use in Northern Ireland to fire smoke and baton rounds. Then was later used in Iraq. And believe it still in use at the moment, as one pic was posted of it in use last year with a red dot as a rear sight. Mine is the hard to find original CAW HK69 When I got this, was sprayed all green. Took it back to normal, then weathered it. Also fitted real sights. In the process of getting some parts 3d printed to get it running again. Then looking at getting correct markings added. Top pic is of it in use. Bottom is mine. Popular Post Darkmikey22 Posted July 2 Author Popular Post Posted July 2 Another small update. 2 more rifles and an adapted acog. First, is the L2A1 SACTARASS (semi-automatic counter terrorist assault rifle and sniper system). (HK 417) This has been seen used with uksf for many years now. With 3 different variants. 12", 16" & 20" versions. Mine is a vfc 12" version with a surefire suppressor and acog. It's current set up as seen in a few reference pics that have been floating about. The acog has also had to be adapted. So the uksf were known for sticking with the TA01, but with the RMR. Meaning it has an off set front sight and larue mount. For airsoft, they never done this. Meaning I've had to pretty much butcher 2 acogs to make one. A box standard TA01, then a TA31 rco for the RMR and off set front sight blade. Second weapon is the L80A1 (MP5K) This has been In Service for decades. So nothing special to really report here. There was another version of the MP5K, that had its sights removed!... This was known as the L90A1. glockkidd, Lozart, Diemaco and 5 others 3 5
Stuow Posted August 6 Posted August 6 The attention to detail (and the collections themselves) are just amazing, you can see the amount of time and effort thats gone into them. Brilliant work guys. You should go on tour and show all this stuff off. And a genuine thank you to all those who served. Lest we forget. MSSNAFU, Darkmikey22 and glockkidd 2 1

MSSNAFU Posted Friday at 10:24 Posted Friday at 10:24 Thats probably the most impressive Airsoft collection I've ever seen! Side note question - In the course of the work on your WE Browning Hi-Power pistols, was anything done to make them work properly? I sometimes use a 'good enough for airsoft' Brit Cold War era loadout - 58 pattern webbing, SLR(s), my EM-2 prototype, SMG and the cursed, utterly unreliable WE Hi-Power! Darkmikey22 1

No, they're completely stock. Trouble is, when the collection becomes as big as it has. I tend not to run them. I have a separate rifle and pistol for that. Plus buying boneyard (although still not cheap) makes the collection more achievable. Plus I tend to focus more on external accuracy then internal. A better pick of all the family together..... Mtemprell Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Question does anyone know if a rs hand guard will fit on vfc mp7? Wanting to make an Iranian embassy spec mp5 out of my newly acquired gun. HZR13 1

Wanting to make an Iranian embassy spec mp5 out of my newly acquired gun. Most MP5 handguards will fit (I emphasise the 'most' bit), I found a slim handguard for my embassy build but had to DIY an adapter to make it fit. RIS is a modern style, do you have a pic to show use what your plan is? HZR13 1

All other makes and AEGs need an adaptor, as receivers are too short. If you can find one, vfc do the correct claw mount. As for the torch and torch holder. The real torch used is a Streamlite SL20. And the holder, there is a guy on Facebook called steve leggett. How makes and sells a very close replica to the real thing. Obviously it's down to your finances and how accurate you would like to go. But a suggestion if I may!.... if that's your MP5 in the pic, I would suggest finding the older style A3 type trigger group too. Mtemprell 1

I definitely do aim to buy the SEF trigger mech. I have my eye on one over on used Airsoft if it's still available come pay day. I shoot cqb alot so burst is not a necessity for me. I knew this forum wouldn't let me down on any info I needed. Thanks guys.
