Second half of the gen5 disassembly video

Nice one.

That was good to watch to see how you did the sear/spring part in the rear chassis and the main trigger spring at the front.

Fitted all the Guarder parts a week or two ago - everything very easy aside from those two stages of rebuild that required MUCH patience!

Yeah, first time I did it, I panicked as I thought I’d really f*cked it. I couldn’t get the sear back in with my bare hands ? luckily I buy so much shadowfoam I had a pair of forceps to hand and managed to jiggle it in using them. No idea how you get it in barehanded.

Looks like TM might of just been ahead of the curve https://us.glock.com/en/discontinued-models G17 MOS – Gen4 | Gen5 is already discontinued :)

I heard a rumour from IWA at the G45 & G45 MOS sales were outstripping every other model and glock were considering reducing all the models that competed with the G45 MOS. Did put much weight in it as it was pub talk. Sounds like my friend might have been speaking some truth.

In other news (with the help of Facebook

translate) it sounds like the new batch of G17.5s might ship in Japan soon. Maybe on 2nd May?IMG_1398.thumb.jpeg.b086167c93c6c6bb3e57eabf3db174c3.jpegin

17 Gen 5 MOS was like 4% of sales I was reading. As you say 45s are just selling like hot cakes in all but California (for obvious reasons) until the law is changed Gen 3 still going to outsell just about everything else.

And if there was any doubt as to the return of the TM G17.5 MOS, TM have confirmed they will be exhibiting at the 63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show from next Wednesday - May 14th. 'TM will have a "Test Firing Corner." at their booth to allow trade visitors the opportunity to experience the performance of the Tokyo Marui G17 Gen 5 MOS Gas Blowback Pistol, enhanced with a mounted Micro Pro Sight'.

Also, I’d be willing to bet the V2 G19 mags will just be V1 G19 mags with orange followers ? they’d already adopted the awful pinned base design for G19 mags.

Gun Mall Osaka also had stock for under an hour this morning, based on the email notification and it being sold out when i checked. Not that they ship internationally, just for keeping tabs.

Why can’t they go back to the V1 magazine design! This is how I spent my evening!

I hadn't realised Eagle 6 did the o-rings and have now managed to fix one of my leaky G17 mags based on just seeing this pic, so cheers for that. :)

Thanks for this, mine turned up this morning.

Was a nice shock testing this compared to my gen 3s.
