Hi everyone.  I got my hands on a cheap m3 scope and noticed the rear of the scope is wonky lol .

Scope works fine etc but just knowing it's like that is setting ocd off.

Are the back of these pressure fitted or screwed?

Thanks for any insights

In that case it may have been dropped/fallen on so the lenses might not line up properly if the tube itself is bent. If it's a purged scope and you strip it then you'll lose any seal and potentially start getting condensation inside the sight. If you can adjust it to hit what you're pointing it at then just leave it be.

If you mean the IR Turret , it’s ment to be offset , so you can read the elevation turret 👍🏼

If the eye bell is bent / not in line then that’s likely just China QC .

All good advice guys.

Jim and Hudson, its the very back of the scope ( Bell) . From what I can gather it's an old scope that was mounted to a m14 and the angle is fitting for an impact/ fall .

Thanks for all the input, I will just live with it

How do you mean, 'wonky'?

What exactly is wrong with it?

If you look at the first picture you can see that the end bell is drooping slightly.
