I've got the rail above on my kurtz and it makes changing the battery a right ball ache as you have to remove 7 screws to get the rail off. To get round this I've started using a PEQ box to hold the battery.

The tabs on the top are for a sight rail like this

Don't worry about the gnu being a two tone, 99% of airsofters won't care

Just seen your other thread and it's not a k.

Railed foregrips are available for the full size MP5. These should fit

https://www.google.com/search?q=airsoft+mp5+railed+handguard&oq=airsoft+mp5+railed&aqs=chrome.0.0i512j69i57j0i22i30.7424j0j4&client=ms-android-sonymobile&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

One thing I found was that the railed foregrips also allowed a bigger battery to be fitted

To answer your question, it’s one of these that “clamps” onto the two points either side of the upper receiver

I had to try a couple for my G3 before I got one that fitted and stayed on

There were minute differences between the mounts and obviously my JG isn’t exactly to the real steel dimensions

You can only fit one mount bud

They come in slightly different lengths , like 100 or 125mm from memory, it’ll show on the advert

I got the longer one for my G3, and it’s just enough to fit a tele optic
