Eenthuncob Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Hi guys. New to NGRS and I've recently got the 416 delta custom. Played my first game with it and thought it was incredible, get it home to clean the inner barrel out and find the hand guard is a little wobbly, I've read this is a common problem with them is it a simple fix? Or should I be thinking of sending it back? Thanks Matt.
Pdubyuh Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Take the rail off, tighten the barrel nut, stick the handguard back on, sorted.
StayOnTarget Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 No its broken sell it to me at a discount price,I have serious AEG envy mate saw one of those beautys at a local airsoft shop.....lucky bugger
Immortal Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Send it back, the colours all wrong wrong wrong.... In all seriousness though, that's one hell of a wobble. If that's the best fit you can get then I'd return it if an option (assuming the tip in the post before last does nothing...).
Supporters jcheeseright Posted November 12, 2018 Supporters Posted November 12, 2018 Ignore the barrel nut comment, that's not how the rail attaches. There's a nut on the receiver end of the rail on the right side, tighten that and the wobble will go away.
Eenthuncob Posted November 14, 2018 Author Posted November 14, 2018 All sorted now guys. Just needed tightening.
Wo1f Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Ive tightened mine as tight as I can get it and I still get a bit of play.
Pdubyuh Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Try tightening the barrel nut underneath, you can get wobble from just the rail nut coming loose but if the barrel nut comes loose too, it doesn't matter how much you tighten the rail nut as it clamps to the barrel nut, which is loose.
latte Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Same problem here. Could I please ask for more details or a pic of how you resolved this? I'm having trouble understanding which particular screw/barrel nut was tightened. Thanks a ton in advanced!
