I bought the Vz58 compact, simply because they're the only one that makes one currently.

Happy enough with it so far (hop bucking was crap as standard though) but I'm always waiting for the moment it's going to go kaput on me!

That's the thing though - if it lasts 5 years and then dies everyone will still say "ooh...it's Ares what did you expect?".

That's every gun from every manufacturer.

It's a sad fact of life that every airsoft gun is one trigger pull away from failing.

 

It's just with some it's more of a certainty than a maybe.

Sad fact I actually enjoy seeing what breaks and just how much - ahhh yeah maybe that was pushing it a bit too far

but true - you can put in Siegtek gears etc.... but means jack if the rest is crap & not up to the stress

Even siegetek gears can break if you try hard enough.
