RedwolfAirsoftUK
Hi all , I'm Gaz from Redwolf Airsoft . I joined here so that I can help folks with their enquiries regarding our UK shop as I know it has been a little convoluted up until now . Since November I have been reviewing and updating procedures and communications for the Uk shop to make it easier for everyone . We will be launching our Uk website this month and also having the official opening of the new Uk store . I have sped up the order process for getting stock from Hong Kong as well as getting more diversity in the lines we carry in the UK. I'm a Uk airsofter myself who has been playing for over 23 years and was brought in to the company as I understand the UK market being a local player who cannot resist buying new toys . Since I started we have designed ,built and opened a much larger shop floor with target range and "chill out area" with sofas and PS3 and also extended thursday opening hours for the summer to 09.30 - 19.30 hrs in order to better allow those who works days to come in . If you have any questions etc i'm here to help All I ask is you keep the questions public so that A. everyone can benefit from the answer and B. we can keep clarity on information Best Regards Gaz UK Retail Manager Redwolf Airsoft LTD

Pointman PUG
Nice one fella....are your teccies going to help with advice on "home builds"its just that I've rang a few retailers with questions and they always suck their teeth and say to send the gun in for them to"assess"....I've built turbo cars for the past ten years....three gears and a piston is Childs play....and knowledge is something to give...not to sell ;-)

RedwolfAirsoftUK
Cheers guys ! To answer a few questions there As stated in my initial post the website launch is on the 21st July The shop is already open and has been for some time Unit C1, Northway Trading Estate ,Northway, Tewkesbury , GL20 8JH If you ring us with a tech question we will always try to help but often it is hard to diagnose issues without having the gun in front of you as AEGs don't tend to still to a "typical" trouble shoot list sadly We will NOT be offering a Two tone service for a few reasons A - We as a shop and personally as airsofters fought for two years to keep RIFs during the VCRB discussion phase and we argued to the Home Office that realistic guns were a key part to the suspension of disbelief in airsoft (they wanted us all to have two tones or clear guns). There is a concern (warranted or not) that if HO see the use of two tones all over airsoft sites that our defence CAN be written out at the stroke of a pen ! B - We support legitimate airsofters and sell products for the purpose of airsoft skirmishing or re-enactment , both of which can purchase RIFs after very little effort of proving serious about the hobby C - The arguement for two tones for under 18s is kind of invalidated as you still have to be 18 to buy a two tone in which case you could play at a legitimate site and get defence We do use the UKARA database but can also use other forms of proof of defence or exemption but only face to face where ID can be presented and photocopied to cover us from prosecution under the VCRA. I hope that covers the questions asked so far Gaz

Tariq
Perhaps they don't have a fixed date... He's said this month and that's good enough for me. Yet to make a visit to the store, as i've been waiting for the website. Little bit too far to just pop in and not find a huge amount of things that i want. Keep up the work anyway. Gaz, does this mean that you'd sell to an over 18 without UKARA if the gun were to be given to an under 18 with a valid VCRA compliant defence? Because I'd highly support that strategy if it's viable.

My Apologies mate , it was my error ! I have looked at some of these junior membership systems but at the moment we will not use them due to the fact the one thing the home Office were absolutely insistent on during the consultation phase was the prohibition of availability of any imitation firearm to under 18s . If we get clarification from the Home Office that they are willing to entertain under 18 memberships then i'm happy to do so but I cannot see it happening to be honest . Until things change i'm quite stubborn in protecting what we have by not trying "loopholes" etc (this is my personal opinion)

RedwolfAirsoftUK
Assuming your compression is good a Madbull M100 and G&P M140 motor (or equivalent) It really depends gun to gun and also what you ultimately want from it in the end . I like mine to have instant single shot as I never use burst or auto but I know some folks do like to put rounds down
