  1. TM VSR GSPEC all the way! Yep, you'll end up replacing most of the internals anyway but 95% of upgrade parts are made to fit the TM! I have 2, the gspec and the pro, gspec is better although the pro is a tad lighter! I use .43 proballs which are the best ammo (At the moment). Upgrade wise, I recommend a Mancraft SDIK kit if you want maximum effect and easy FPS setting. If you want a good springer then go Airsoft pro, they're like the landrover of the upgrade world!
  2. Yep, Once the trigger switch is hit then it does it's thing! the nozzle does a complete cycle!
  3. Hi, I was looking at the Krytac CBR as a bit of a fun gun, worrying to hear about the cycing thing although my TM Scar does the same! I have just built a P* Jacked M4 DMR. So far it's not worked however that's another issue. THe trigger pull is quite far on a P* stock as the trigger board is tiny and only contact on the last 2mm so most people use mods to pack out the trigger (Which is easy enough to do) you don't get any issues with the P* in that matter (Plus when you first get it I guarantee you try out 99 rps just to see how it sounds ) * * no mag will feed at that speed though lol
  4. Exactly. It was certainly impressive seeing all the sanding pay off but you can't start glueing stuff in the car in the pouring rain.
  5. Without a doubt R hopping is the best hop solution however I may be in the minority with my view. I R hopped my VSR (EDGI build) and on my first test hit a dinner plate size target at 75 meters! Bloody lovely! however I soon realized that "In the field" it's not a good idea if you start expereincing any issues (Jammed BB's etc) so I removed it. I still get 65 meters nicely, maybe I'll re do it one day but I like my rifles to be serviceable in the field. One thing I need to add, do people use the JAck in a DMR platform? I know it says it can run up to 500fps but the F1 mentions it as a point!
  6. That's not flat hopping then? When you flat hop you use either a moundless bucking OR remove the mound and turn 90 degrees in a standard barrel. If you're trying to combine the flat hop nub with the mound then essentally you're doing what I do on my VSR. (I have a Type B flat bar arm with the stock TM bucking, is that flat hopping then?). Another thing I've tried is H hopping which is similar but on my gun yields the same result
  7. Way I see it, If he puts it into his gun and it does the same thing then he can give me a new one (He's actually said he would if that were the case). 60 on a 303 is a massive amount of dwell! Maybe it's worth me giving it a go then? Only issue is going to be the air usage lol
  8. What length Orga are you using? and what is your dwell? Mine is a 455mm Orga and the dwell is 49 with it chronoing at 310 on a .36.
  9. Hmm, This sounds all too familiar! I've done the same teflon tape mod, I noticed a 40 fps gain through doing this as the secondary channel in the Orga Magnus leaks air! Maybe like you say it's a "Bedding in" issue with the Jack. I've now spoken to Danny at beesting and I'm going to send the unit (In my gearbox) back to him so he can test it in another gun. If it does the same then we know it's the unit itself!
  10. No mate, I use the same firebase regulator and HPA, I've stripped it down and relubed the reg. It's definatley not that. I've also done a 30 second 40rps auto test on the P* and it's refresh is spot on! ZERO dips!
  11. Hmm, Thing is I use th eregulator for my sniper rifle and it's fine! With the DMR even if I pop off a few fast shots it doesn't make any difference. I 've now called Danny at Beesting, he's going to take a look at the unit itself.
  12. Funny you should mention compression! I've just ptfe taped the bucking and also wrapped the barrel where you can see the splines. It's now chronoing at +/- 2 over 100 shots. It'll be interesting to see if this helps at all. I'm wondering if a poor seal could do this?
  13. Ok so in the Orga Magnus there are two positions for the bucking, A:Standard fit with the mound showing through the barrel window and B: 90º twist with the mound sitting in a reccesed area. Basically you don't need to slice the mound off, so you just turn it so the sidewall is being used, there's an offset spline so it's all held really well. The settup I'm using is the standard settup that P* use in the US (Prowin/Orga Magnus/Prommy purple and Namazu). However, for the Poison Apple hop and the stock barrel I used a Stock G&G Bucking with a standard nub, still with the same result
  14. Hi all, right so I've been banging my head against a wall for the last few weeks as I've been trying to get my P* DMR on to the field but I'm having major issues with accuracy. Firstly here's what I have: -P* Jack unit in a G&P Receiver. Shimmed to get nice nozzle alignment.. -Orga Magnus 6.23 455mm Barrel -Prommy Purple Bucking -Namazu Flat hop nub -Pro win hop I've set the dwell using .36 proballs and I'm using Lonex flash mags as they seem to feed without any issues. Fps is about 320 fps using the .36's (So that equated to 420 fps on a .2) Problem I'm having is that when I apply hop to the best point I'm getting about 50-60 meters before I start getting overhop. BUT!!! With the hop set I'm getting a really inconsistent hop, so for example, my first 2 shots will sail nicely, my third will shoot skyward, my fourth will nose dive at 20 meter and so on.... I've gone and bought some replacement parts to test to try to eliminate all the variables: - G&G Green bucking -Maple leaf monster bucking -Poison apple M4 hop unit -original stock AEG barrel It does it with everything, nothing seems to improve the issue. When I chrono the rifle I'm getting +/-3 fps although everynow and then i'll get a -10 but I can't see that drastically altering a shot? So, what do I do now? Am I setting the dwell wrong? It's set at 47 which, according to P* is correct! HELP!!
  15. First test of my EdGI VSR, NICE! I'd say 60-70 meters accurately, I still prefer my mancraft VSR though, so quick to shoot and so consistent! Just gotta sort my P* DMR out now!

  16. Frustratingly the original .43 Nuprols were the best heavy weight BB's I used! Nowadays most people are using Proball BB's. Similar quality but they're round and fit in my 6.01 TBB!
  17. I had the TM MP7 GBB. Pros: It's a very cool piece of kit, green gas =320+fps and can fire .3's out to 30+ meters really nicely. Cons: Gas means more expense, Heavy and expensive mags, only hold's 30 BB's per mag. Overall, It'll put a smile on your face with every shot!
  18. One thing I'll just add, I'm not going ot be buying loads in bulk now, maybe 2 packs at a time. Not worth the loss if there's a "Bad batch" again, I just threw 10,000 Rockets away as even my Orga barrel was struggling!
  19. At the moment I'm using .43 Proballs, you can get them from socom tactical in packs of 1000. They've started vac packing them and putting silica gel packs inside to prevent moisture too.
  20. My 2016 project list turned into a "Might as well financially ruin myself at the end of 2015", built my P* DMR and just ordered a new VSR which is going to have the full EdGi upgrade kit (Also ordered).
  21. I have a Orga Magnus 6.23 in my DMR!
  22. And I've just bought the firebase! FARK
  23. With just the barrel swapped it's chronoing at 410 fps! Crazy
  24. I've just put the Gspec barrel in the MK23, mines a TM. The trigger pull is longer that a GBB but the range is crazy! I used .3's in it stock but I know if you do the biro mod it'll lift heavier too.
