Hi all, I have a G&G M14 which I wish to switch the outer barrel on. I've been offered a G&P outer barrel. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable? I'd hate to buy the G&P one if it doesn't fit my G&G

Turns out it was the rubbish stock magazines that were the issue. Worked fine until I upgraded the hop unit. Tried a couple of different ones this afternoon and it seems to have fixed the problem

Hi all, So I have just put an AirsoftPro twin lever hop unit in my CYMA 701b rifle. At the same time I upgraded the barrel to a X Fire 6.08 precision barrel. Put it all together and tuned the hop up unit, till it was firing like a dream. The tuning was done by manually feeding the bb's into the hop up one at a time for convenience (the twin arm hop unit has to be adjusted without the magazine on by allen key). So happy days so far. I then found that when I put the magazine in, the magazine empties completely in one go as soon as the bolt is pulled back. All the bb's empty backwards into the body of the rifle. I think the problem is the notch in the hop unit as circled in my photo. Any ideas how to fix this problem?

Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a Cyma cm.701 as a base to build a rifle for my sniper role. Has anyone had experience of this rifle? Nice on. I'm happy with my FPS as it ranges from between 455 and 465. I'll check the R hop though for wear. On hind sight I will probably keep the R hop as it compliments the upgraded hop up unit rather well. I'll go for the wider bore barrel on the advice I've seen there and try a 6.08mm. I'll go steel. I'll let you guys know the results once its all put back together. thanks

So my range is ok, I'm getting approximately 80m + My problem is the consistency of the shots. My fps is around 460. The R Hop has always caused me concern and I've often wondered about revert back to a traditional bucking. What would you guys recommend? So the general consesus is a wider bore barrel yes? Approx 6.05? I've ugraded the sear on my rifle and so am happy running the M150 spring in it. The cylinder seems to be holding up well (almost 18 months now). When it goes I'll replace it. Is what I've paraphrased about right? and will the modifications help with my accuracy?

I have a R hop fitted and the upgraded hop up from Airsoft Pro. The problem I have is that it still isn't so accurate or consistent over 50m. I thought a tight bore might help

I'm not familiar with the difference between AEG format and other formats. What do I need to know?

You could buy an A&K SVD and stick a new spring in it, upgrade the sear, replace the hop up with one from Airsoft Pro, and finally replace the inner barrel with a tight bore. This would give you a springer firing at about 450-500 fps and a range of approx 80m. either that or a TM VSR as these are easily upgraded

Hi all, I need advice. I want to put a tight bore barrel in my A&K SVD but not sure which to go for. I have heard many good things about the Prometheus 6.03 barrel but not sure if this come in 650mm. In fact not even sure if I need the 650mm. Any advice on what I need to buy???? cheers

Hi all, Ok I have had an airsoft SVD scope before and it was awful but.... I need another as my real steel PO6x36 just will not zero on an airsoft rifle. I have been offered one of these 4x26 airsoft scopes second hand and wondered if I should go for it again. I know about the issue with the parallax on these scope but I can live with that. The thing that I hated about my previous was that it was like looking through a window covered in vaseline. The guy selling this one however says that his optics are as clear as day.
