  1. My SAS M16/M203 is now done. Still waiting on side mounted m203 sight which is currently in the post. But it boasts; * accurate trades * C7 upper * STEEL barrel/front sight/flash hider * STEEL small parts, mag catch/selector etc. Just need to decide whether to leave as is, do a jungle stripe or GW1 look.
  2. Hi bud, and thanks. Believe it or not it a converted WE. If you go a few pages back on here, you will see it. It's also got accurate british trades too. Yeah I'm waitin for that too, but I think it was just a load of hype as no post production pics or anything.... which seems odd. @StayOnTarget Oh just a bit if a collector.... 😉 The torch is a genuine SL20 stream light as originally used. Alot of people thought they were mag lights, but weren't. Yeah the SLR is a rather eye catching weapon. Alot of real parts fitted to that. Nothing wrong with a humble collection bud, loving the Fal para/fnc you've got there.
  3. Well the browning L9A1 hi power came back. Unfortunately they laser etched the markings instead of engraving them.... 😡 And because of the silver colour you can't even see the ones engraved on the chamber 😣 Oh well......
  4. @StayOnTarget cheers buddy. It is still having work done. So yet to add butt numbers, llm01 etc. @Druid799 hey buddy, it's been a while. You doing NAE this year? As hopefully it will be back by then. I've had more work done to it...... 😁 You creamed yourself last time.... you just wait 😜
  5. @FreeFrag.UK cheers bud. I've not had chance to field it yet. Externally it's the mutts nuts, and bloody heavy. Only down side is the way the weapon is wired. It requires 2 batteries. One for the gear box and one for the box mag. Yet lct's M60 was direct wired. Meaning that the box mag was wired to the electronic trigger switch. So every time you pull the trigger it would run the box mag. So as this also has an electronic switch, I will be doing this mod, or other wise you have to press and hold a button on the bottom of the ammo tin 😒 Really not impressed by that tbh and thought better of LCT. Only other thing. Not sure if it's a pro or con at moment. But where LCT have made it exactly 1:1 scale. Things like airsoft externals do not fit. For example the side scope mount. Airsoft versions are too big and wobble alot!, so having to source a real one. Some may see that as a plus... but when you look at real part prices some may say it's not!. As for the L85's, the afghan spec is ICS and the UGL one is ARES. But if buy running you mean skirmishing, neither at the moment. The ICS needs the motor looking at. And the ugl is away having work done to it as not quite accurate.
  6. Cheers bud. Yeah the UK started using the L1A1 SLR around the mid 50's, I believe. The L1A1 is a derivative of the FN FAL, and was built under licence from FN. Even though both the SLR and FAL look the same, the L1A1 has a few different features compared to the FAL. The UK version of the FAL then went on to be used by other countries like; Australia, Brunei, Canada, India, Jamaica, Kuwait, Malaysia, etc. As for the watermark, it was added for two reasons. Firstly to emphasise the 'British' part, and secondly to try stopping it from being used without my consent. As I have had a lot of trouble with a few of my images being used on various websites without my knowledge. And one of those websites are the ones that charge you to download the image. took me nearly a year and legal action before they eventually removed it. Never did see any royalties from it either! Which is why I always try to advise to people that post either high quality or artistic shots of their kit/rifles, to either water mark them with a logo or add 'such and such photography' somewhere in the shot where it can't be cropped out.
  7. He may be better of just using a gripod, less cumbersome. But as you say it's up to him. So I made good use of the nice weather this morning and got spraying! My G&P MK46 MOD1 with RS improved bipod. Nothing special wise on the body, but did spray up the barrel to look like a real fired barrel. It's not 100% but it will do for now. Other than that, just a few little bits left to do, looking at customising a 'nutsack' to fit and she should be done.
  8. Been playing about with the GPMG barrel, trying to give it a warn look. Still think a should take a little bit more off the chamber area. Any opinions on the barrel would be gratefully received.
  9. Not a bad effort chap. Nice to see something different.
  10. My G&P M249 (no addons) weighs 6.5kg, just weighed it. the box mag only weighs 0.53kg empty, so 6.6kg overall before stuff added. My Inokatsu GPMG on the other hand weighs in at a massive 10.3kg without anything added. 24kg with tripod, scope, ammo tin.
  11. You legend, been trying to find what type of spring it is for a while. If its the same size as the G&P box mag one, then its just a tad too thin, but I'm sure I could find a way to make it fit. Much appreciated chap
  12. I would like one but not sure it would fit. The DG kits are designed for a Echo1, this is a Inokatsu. Plus the price of a DG kit I could put a decent amount against a TM AA12
  13. Qlimax, looks the nuts. I must say, that flash hider just looks nicely naughty More of mine, Now have a Tripod and working on getting the original box mag into the ammo tin and running a long tube up.
  14. This is always a two way argument. Yes there are people out there who only add a few parts and call it custom, then try to sell it at a high price. But I have also seen people that have really spent a lot of time and money building absolute beast's, yet get lowballed by people that either don't have a clue what they are buying or want to buy gold with buttons. For example; there was a guy last year on another forum selling an Inokatsu STEEL M240B for £900, which is a bargain when it cost £1600 New and was unskirmished. Yet two lads made a thread about what a rip off this guy was, and that it was overpriced and that you can get the same thing for $300 from the abroad. Well most people know a $300 echo1 to a full steel Inokatsu is a big difference. But my point is; where is the line drawn between an over priced gun, or someone just wanting something for nothing? At the end of the day, as everyone else has said, if your not happy paying that price, give a offer, if not accepted, walk away. It's no biggy is it?
  15. yea you will have to make an account, but its been a long time since I joined and cant remember the sign up process. I will contact him tomorrow and point him in this direction as he maybe on here too.
