I found astkilo23 s gearbox videos great when I was doing it for the first time as they really explain things well Edit - 100th post yay

I have the cm18 and it's great, with a bit of time taken to set the hop and zero your sights, I easily could hit someone 40+ metres away probably more with .25s. If I were you I would definitely do this, set it up and use good bbs.

I have looked at aspuk and there is some great stuff to get, but they don't seen to sell any spring less than m150 I'm looking for about an m120. Could I just cut some coils off of one of those then? Edit: would vsr springs fit? If so there are m130 ones that would be easier to cut down

I know, thinking about it it is low! I'll probably get one a bit lower due to this being upgraded, and the upgrades alone can increase fps. Does anyone know the size or name of spring they take?

The fps at my site for bolt action snipers is 400fps and I need a new spring to be under this figure. What springs fit in the mb01 type rifles and what one should I get? I was thinking about an m120 because new hop up unit, piston, tbb and others will increase the fps.

It seems that fine adjustments are not my thing and it was the motor height, just needs half turns at a time instead of 2 or 3.

At first it jammed and the piston locked back, I thought I had shimmed it too tight and so I removed the shims from the gearbox and when I test it now, it just screeches/squeals

I did try adjusting the motor height but it still does it

My gun just makes a horrible screeching noise, I have adjusted the screw on the motor plate and removed the shims. What could it be?

what about putting less bbs in the magazine?

Are standard aeg springs compatible then?

I need to get an m130 spring for a Well/Warrior L96, because most places say they shoot 450 fps OOTB, but that is my sites limit. As i havent got to chrono it yet, i would like the option to downgrade it at the site if it is firing too hot. However I can't find one anywhere. Thanks

I think tm did a recoil vsr, but it was a bit sh!t and most people disabled the recoil function.

What bbs are you using? Have you tried a different magazine or turning the hop all the way off?

Hmm, that's why I thought they were g&ps because I knew they made mags with real steel trademarks. For now I think I will go on them being CA because I bought them second hand with a bunch of other CA ones.
