  1. UKARA isn't a requirement for customs. I've received dozens of AEG's since 2007 without UKARA, you do need a valid defense though.
  2. As with most ARES AEG's they use the Quick-change spring system so really easy to change the spring yourself if needed.
  3. haha. I was in the same boat, I've got an old X3200 clone in fact that has done me proud for 3 years now. As soon as the X3500 came out I knew I had to have one :-) The larger firing tube is worth it alone for all those people out there who can't shoot straight haha.
  4. PM me skippy and I'll sort you out with some parts and a forum discount :-)
  5. Hi Andy, no experience myself but there's a Facebook group dedicated to Bolt users I believe.

    UAR

Sorry to say a normal QD spring guide won't work without a bit of modification as it's lugs are too big for the APS shell. I tested it on my version V2 shell, imagine a V3 is the same. The APS is a far better design but parts seem limited here in the UK. You can order the part from APS directly pretty cheaply but imagine it will take more than a few days to arrive. :-(

    UAR

Very surprised to see that UAR in that condition as spoke to the APS rep the other day and he was saying how much they improved the internals. How many BB's had been through it? Really like them myself. I should have a replacement spring guide in stock, pretty sure it's the same as most of the other QD gearboxes on the market. I can even check for you as I've got a whole bunch of samples in from APS, no V3 gearboxes but their V2 gearboxes uses the same system. On the whole I'm pretty impressed with APS - hopefully going to be stocking their M4 parts soon
  8. Ask the shop if you can use another form of defense such as getting the owner of the site where you now play to email the store owner.
  9. Personally it's something else I'd rather not have hanging off my AEG, the best thing I've seen a PEQ used for is a case for a gun camera.
  10. Really like the look of these, only 76g in weight and each bang only 8.5p.
  11. Not tried this but its new,has a LCD timer and looks pretty cool... https://www.facebook.com/molyneux.systems

    Bolt

I've heard mostly good things from Bolt, I remember seeing there's a dedicated Facebook group
  13. Thanks for the link, some nice MDF work going on, looks like they are putting in a lot of effort.
  14. I believe....don't quote me on this, that the gearbox is designed for quick spring change, however the trigger switch is the standard V2 and not the micro switch version. I haven't seen any other design that mixes the two so far. Quite a nice use of both mechanisms.
  15. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Krytac owned and produced by the real steal Swiss company Kriss Arms? Parts produced out in TW but put together in the US, sure I read that somewhere... Really like what they've done.
  16. I think you've been watching a little too much Airplane...... What a pisser! Ahh who am I kidding you can never have too much Airplane :-)
  17. I did send a message to the policy guys this morning stating that a Hop Up Chamber does not constitute a BB / Airsoft gun or frame or receiver. We'll see what they come back with if anything at all. I've been down this road before, spent 2 hours on the phone - it's just gets tedious.
  18. I'm not sure how the other UK Ebay sellers have faired in all this. Helmet World, Bullseye, Poisenapple etc but I'm presuming they get their fair share of raids by the Ebay police. I'm also presuming that HK sellers are also subject to the same restrictions. Either way I've cancelled my paid Ebay subscription for now.
  19. Just had another email from Ebay together with a 30 day listing ban for...... get ready for this....a Hop Up Chamber! Noticed that their Firearms policy now includes "BB guns" as a new restriction: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/firearms-weapons-knives.html
  20. Richborough was an amazing site, till it was demolished....
  21. What length are you going for? I've got about half the ZCI sizes at the moment plus a selection of hops. GIve me a shout and I'll see if I can sort you out :-)
  22. I sent Ebay support links to other products just like you did above but I still got my listings removed together with a 3 day ban. The support guy said, Ebay just simply can't monitor every listing, once they make a decision to remove something very hard to get the decision reversed. This was my second strike, one more and I was told I could lose my account, scare tactics maybe.
  23. I'm a Royal Mail PPI customer so things are a little different for me but unless I'm mistaken you have to pay extra for either "signed for" or "tracked" (both are different) otherwise your parcel won't get logged or tagged. What was the value of the transaction if you don't mind me asking and when did you send it out? One thing you could do is give his local sorting office a call and ask politely if they have it in their stores or if someone collected it (not 100% sure they give out the last part but worth a shot). Paying £1.10 for Signed For doesn't ensure you won't be ripped off and won't insure you for more than £20, but at least it gives you some protection against possible scammers Hope you get it sorted though buddy :-)
  24. Only last week I had a listing taken down "V2 Trigger Switch" or something like that - I was told the trigger word was "Trigger". I was also not able to add any new listings for 3 days. Pretty annoyed since I pay £20 a month for unlimited listings. Spent the next 2 hours on the phone to various nobody's in customer service centre's. I explained that these were products were not firearm related, could not be converter etc but it all fell on deaf ears. The actual Ebay policy isn't finely grained and doesn't distinguish between real firearms and those product and related products that use similar words. I'm really in two minds whether to stay with Ebay, going to give it another month or so. Just wish there was a viable alternative. I tried Amazon but was wasn't impressed with their pricing structure.
