Looks like if you want to use a Mk23 for film related lols, you're going to have to lose your hair

hmm, I wonder if I cut along the wavy line at the edge of the textured bit and then made a replacement craft foam insert...

My other idea for a melee weapon was to use a fly swat painted matt black with velcro to attach one of these:

I've been toying with getting a rubber weapon for melee kills. Toyed with various ideas, rubber knives, bayonets and axes have all been done so I narrowed it down to a shoto sword http://www.amazon.co.uk/Martial-Black-Polypropylene-Plastic-Training/dp/B00GYZK81Q/ref=pd_sim_sbs_sg_2 but then I saw something in the suggestions at the bottom of the page http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00GYZFK1E/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
A Kukri! It seemed more military and less ninja, but it should scare some ppl

Just ordered an oshiboom from Red1airsoft
a 1 point sling and a belt from Military1st via amazon (nothing fancy, just means I don't have to swap my current ones between loadouts)

How is it NOT airsoft related? Do your guns not fit in the boot?

rather than look for a nail apron, try googling bar apron. Only difference will be the colour.

The torch foregrip for my MP5 arrived
£14 from Taiwangun is quite a good price, the torch is powerful enough to do the job. The lens though was made of very thin glass. I therefore cut several pieces of the clear plastic packaging into disks and used 3 layers of this instead of the glass. It should absorb hits by being able to flex rather than shattering the 1st time it gets hit.

...until next winter, when you can't remember where you put them

Just ordered a lanyard and holster for my H&K MK23 Socom:

I went minimalist with the holster as it seems difficult to get a holster for such a big pistol and this should allow me to holster it with the silencer on.

Hazard 4 Stick-Up Universal Military Velcro Holster

Also ordered some .25 green BB's so I can try heavier ammo without getting the 2 types mixed up

Lies!! I will however accept that Santa may have employed the brunette to help out. You should check whether she's any good at filling stockings to be sure

As I'm usually playing at all indoors CQB sites these days, my need for a camo, webbing and armour has been somewhat reduced.
This was the first loadout I came up with. Cheesy American daytime cop dramas and crime shows provided the inspiration.

SIG-Sauer P229R, X4 15 round magazines. If I need more ammunition than that in a game, I've done something very wrong.
    Swiss-arms flashlight
Point Blank overt/covert ballistic armour, rated to 7.62mm AP rounds (£10 on eBay)
Civilian clothes of choice (currently various shirts and jeans or black/navy combat trousers)

Well its arrived and yep, plastic but such good quality it took a moment to be sure. The blue anodised look is actually very convincing and is kinda growing on me.

So I have been out and bought the following supplies:
    Self adhesive Velcro
    Better Scissors
    Assorted embroidery thread
    Fabric Glue

I have glued the cover to the inside edge of the Fez and trimmed the excess fabric.
Have cut the Velcro to the size of a standard patch, peeled the backing (only for the sticky part to stay on the backing not the velcro)
Have Glued the velcro to the Fez creating a front.
Using Brown and dark yellow embroidery thread I have fashioned a new tassle and replaced the black tassle. (if you can't work out how to do this yourself, I recomend that you don't try as its fiddly). This involved braiding a section of 6 threads (3 of each colour) then attaching more loops of each colour thread to the end to form a tassle then trimming the loops to form the tassly bit.

I measued the fez up against a molle double pistol mag pouch and found the pouch is too big to fit. Molle may be abandoned unless someone can suggest a pouch that would fit.

Oh, I also toyed with my shermagh. If you twist the shermagh up and wrap it around the fez, then remove the fez and wrap the looped shermagh around itself, then reinsert the fez you get the classic fez/turban combo
