  1. I think you need new friends before he turns into the next Jack the Ripper.
  2. When did you play there? I think the owners name was Ben. I found him really arrogant. He was asking me how long I'd been playing (about 5 months at the time) and got really snobbish when I told him like I should be using rentals. It was the worst site I'd been for marshalling. I went home half way through the last game because it completely fell apart. It was everyone vs 3 people- no colour arm bands were used you just had to remember who the 3 were. One of the 3 was a Marshall and kept changing his clothes and masks and knife killing everyone. Oh yea, the knife throwing, I can't believe that's still going on. I don't mind being shot by a BB but wouldn't appreciate having to go to a&e for stitches in my head from a knife throw. The resident evil night looks good so best of luck to them.
  3. Maybe they have done, I won't be going back any time soon to find out
  4. Yes but how do you get out the stairway when you open the door and get peppered straight away. I shot back and was told my the marshall i weren't allowed.
  5. When I was there last year they had a 'No shooting on the stairs rules', This place is 7 stories high. I didn't kick up a fuss about that, it was when I was getting shot at whilst I was in the stairway but got told by the marshal I werent allowed to return fire. The owner had a poll the other week about turning the stairs into single shot only area, I'm pretty sure majority went with the rule.

  7. I was looking at a sites website I visited last year. At the time I thought the site was fairly new so some of the rules that they enforced and I thought didnt make much sense I figured they would learn from feedback eventually. Except now on their website which has been updated since last year states the following; Marshal interaction At any time in the day a marshal may come up to you and tell you that you are dead, this may be because you are standing in the open and bbs aimed at you may be falling short. In these circumstances we have adopted what’s known as a ‘tactical kill’. This is to encourage players to use the cover and approach a more realistic and tactical style of play, as we know in real life a round can travel for over a mile. I've never heard this rule anywhere else before. So basically If i shoot at your direction and I cant hit you you're still dead? Has anyone else heard rules that just don't make sense?
  8. When you rent you shouldn't have to pay for repairs unless you're deliberatly seen tampering with it or hitting something. You're new to the sport, adrenaline kicks in and you just want to go for it. accidents will happen that's why you pay to use their equipment.
  9. Yea i know what you mean. I hope this experience hasn't put you off. Ive found most sites are different to one another. Where one site might slip up, another site will do really well on but they'll slip up elsewhere. At the end of the day we're grown men planing with toy plastic toys, It's just for fun.
  10. Poor Marshall position really urea tea me sometimes. I play indoor CQB and it really bothers me when I'm alone and the marshal stands near me, pretty much lighting me up with the blue light on their hat. It screams. Someone's nearby otherwise why would the marshal be there. Don't get me wrong I've caught people out because I've noticed a Marshall stood by themselves but it's not fair.
  11. I've been using mid & hi-caps for my mp5 for the last year. The hi-cap holds about 300, the mids hold about 90 I think so I'm used to having less ammo than most people. I just hate the rattling noise that hi-caps give off. So the biggest mid-cap would be better for me.
  12. I once got shot point blank from my own team member because I wouldn't run through a rain of BBs to the other side of this tunnel. The other side was no better tactical vantage than where we were, he did it apparently because 'we were in his way'. Our respawn was literally 10 feet behind him so I shot him in the back of the head when I spawned. He did say sorry afterward saying he though I was one of his mates that went with him. We all look the same when we wear camo in a dark tunnel...
  13. Finally caved and got an M4. I went for a G&G GR15 raider, used but in great condition. Came with a couple Hi-caps, battery, front grip and sights. Just need to sort out some pouch and some better mags. Which is the most reliable mags? I like the idea of mid-caps.
  14. You'll be fine. Try all the sites in your area, you'll find there's one where you 'fit in'.
  15. It's coming together! Currently only holding 5 bangs.
  16. So the question of how to store firing blanks for BFGs has always bothered me. I've seen people carry them in zip lock bags or take te whole box that they come in out on the field with them. I went down the route of converting a berroca bottle but kept finding the lid would pop off and I lose a load of blanks. I'm currently working on an idea to dispense them like the old PEZ dispensers used to work. It won't hold many, maybe 7 or 8, but then I find I don't use that many per game anyway. And they're so small if it works I can always carry 2 out with me. This is where I'm up to at the moment; I'm hoping to come up with a sort of clip to attach to molle. What's everyone's thoughts?
  17. Just checked the WAS pouches out and you've converted me. I like the idea of 2 double stacked m4 and 1 m4/pistol stacked together.
  18. Did you get the upgraded springs or keep the stock ones?
  19. The short barrel is the one I'm after. I'll try give that ukairsoft a phone call on Monday. Thanks buddy!
  20. I grew up with all them games. My first game on the original ps was the first resident evil. I used the love the beginning of the game; they used real actors! It was so cheesy Final fantasy 7 & 9 were always a favourite.
  21. I currently run with a TM mp5a4. I'm looking to get an assault rifle. The plan is to eventually get a vfc 416D CQB. The problem is all my pouches are made for mp5. Because I know the direction I'm going I'm willing to spend a bit more on m4 pouches (going for HGSI taco stacks). The question is has anyone used these pouches before? Are they easy to swap mags or are they stiff? I'm thinking of buying a G&G CM16 raider whilst I build up the load out and get mags together. But it seems everywhere I look they're out of stock, does anyone know of a supplier that has one?
  22. Welcome, where abouts you from?
