  1. Me Gusta... I see a future opfor loadout in my crystal ball...
  2. Weeelll... it was easier to describe them that way than,"stereotypical bone shaped end with 2 oval slots on either side which have a larger diameter at the bottom than they do at the top."
  3. Wrong thread, Ian Maybe that's the case- it'd behave a lot more like a standard US LBV in that way as all the pouches on those are at angles to the rest of the rig. If you didn't like it you could always put more grommets in. But if the pouches did mount onto that LBV horizontally, where would the locking plate* go through to get to the studs? I'm guessing that *bellend-shaped metal part at the bottom bends round to lock onto the bottom 2 studs- you'd have to put cuts through the cordura holding the grommets to actually mount the pouches.
  4. That looks like one of those cobbled-together EOKA home made weapons- like this: http://m.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/30030541
  5. I may have to look into that, as soon as I can clear some space on my wall- getting it won't be a problem as they have huge sheets of unused pegboard at my local cave of a hardware store.
  6. I'm liking that gear wall- is that just some product hanging wall from a shop?
  7. Try cutting a lynx can in half with an axe, the effect is spectacular
  8. Got fed up with my M4's pistol grip continuously flaking paint when I use it- so I bought a new one in my local site's shop during lunch in today's skirmish. £10, down from £15
  9. A good day's skirmishing. Had a lightsaber duel with some random guy while everyone carried on around us :D

  10. If I did, I'd wait until a decent manufacturer comes out with an updated G3 AEG that has a removable gas tube- then it'd be a piece of cake to change it all around
  11. They call to me as well... but my wallet stops me just as I hover the mouse over the 'checkout' button...
  12. Post updated especially for you

  14. Nah, it's in a spray bottle labelled 'plant nutrients'- clever, huh? This has gone completely off topic...
  15. It's nearly done that to my dog actually We keep weed killer by it now.
  16. My recon fleece arrived today, time for complete loadout pics: Tactical potted plant ftw...

Surprisingly, frizzle, it's pretty much the same as I got it- only cleaner and re-greased.

@zak It doesn't really work as no igors, lightning flashes or knife switches were involved in it's revival :D

  18. I've seen people play CQB with normal M4's no problem Mainly at the AA site in Chobham dude.
  19. I'm a regular woodland player- I can't afford to go to CQB places regularly as the game fees are usually about twice as much as I pay to go to woodland games. I pay £15 for a walk on day. As for the rare occasions I do play CQB- my M4 won't really be an issue as it's barrel is much shorter than a normal M4's:
  20. Bulle and Begadi are pretty damn good for cost effective plate carriers- WAS and Tactical Tailor are better if you want to spend more money. Bulle plate carriers: http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/mainsearch.php?zoom_query=Bulle+plate+carrier&zoom_and=0&zoom_cat%5B%5D=-1 Begadi PCs: http://begadishop.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=plate+carrier&categories_id=&bex_color_id=&bex_size_id=&manufacturers_id=&pfrom=Price+From&pto=Price+To&x=0&y=0 WAS: http://www.uktactical.com/c-298-armour-carriers.aspx Tactical Tailor: http://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/mavs--rigs-86-c.asp It probably uses tougher material than my gun bag anyway
  21. Doing it this evening mate, it's my loaner gun atm so I'm not too worried about it however someone's borrowing it next saturday.
  22. Swiss Arms make gun bags, bipods, scope rings etc. The quality of my gun bag isn't very good, there's a hole from it where it kept contacting the rear wheel of my mountain bike when I used to cycle to my mate's with my guns.
  23. Turns out having it in a humid environment takes the powdery feel off (before you get any ideas it's the bathroom with the shower running ) It's about 17.2cm long- it looks quite good on my MP5 as well however I can't test it on there atm as I need to put a new motor connector on it.
  24. £17 :D It has the quality of a £40 MadBull suppressor as well, although the finish is a little powdery- I'm sure that'll come off with handling though
  25. Gone all SOPMOD with my M4:
