  1. Shield make RS optics and for a long time supplied the british army with all it's red dot sights and BURDS. They have been around a long time , I'm not a big fan of them but they aren't dodgy
  2. I did find that it was easy to adjust through the nozzle for a change
  3. I did indeed and i just tapped it out and didn't see anything directional on it
  4. Brocock were famous for the cartridge fed airgun revolvers that got banned about 25 years ago . They tried a few times to get into Airsoft but they failed to fundamentally understand it
  5. I mean before we even go into the fact it was put in the "gas rifles" sale section I think this might be dreaming a bit for a brocock
  6. Contact Airsoft world , it's up to them to help you. Worth emailing VFC too at [email protected] but ultimately Airsoft world should swap it right away as they are a UK retailer bound by UK trade laws.
  7. That's been broken ! There have been a few got broken in transit etc and if you email [email protected] they will send you a new one directly. Where did you buy from?
  8. I have one that i may part with
  9. steel barrel always wins in my book
  10. It's important to realise something about this situation . WE AIrsoft is a page ran by WETTI/ARmed force in Hong Kong and NOT WE Model. What i suspect has actually happened is that WE Airsoft are licensed to use the WE name on gas in Hong Kong and designed the graphics etc which is why no one outside HK has seen the "original" cans. Gunfire come along to WE Model and license the WE name for Europe (they are a distributor) to make their own WE gas . However they use a graphic owned by WE Airsoft/AF rather than using their own or WE Model's not realising it's the IP of AF and not WE model . WE AIrsoft /AF then get upset and claim it as "counterfeit" I find it somewhat ironic given that WETTI has always and continues to pretend to be WE Model co on social media when they are not. Both gases are probably made at puff dino or similar who make most airsoft gases ,especially ones from Taiwan You are somewhat correct , It's the same "WE" as was involved in that drama because they were upset that WE Europe (later Nuprol) cut them out and went direct to WE Model
  11. There should be no difference between v1 and V2 gas blocks
  12. No worries. Interestingly it's actually a VFC stock for the AEG mk48 and I found it compatible with the buffer plate and switched them over. But thanks, I like it too
  13. It's exactly the same valve as every other VFC (except mp5) . I got mine from gbbparts.com Also it turns out the real B&T rail fits although it does mean you have to remove it to remove the gas tube as part of a detailed strip
  14. I'll be fitting the CL project design adjustable valve to mine just to ensure it's always under
  15. We have been building our own for the last year or so . It's not actually a hard build to get close but a perfect replica is currently impossible. I used a VFC SR16E3 GBB with the correct rail from Airsoft artisan , a custom supressor and the correct furniture from magpul The correct rail and supressor are both made already but the VFC and G&G options are better base rifles tbh . The SF version uses a ctr stock which is easier to get a replica of or even a real one if you wish
  16. UKSF had the KS1 well over a year ago before the Ranger trials were even complete
  17. It actually feels less toyish than TM to be honest. I was actually tempted to buy one despite not liking the MWS platform
  18. The Cyma/T8 is one version. T8 parts in the Cyma base gun and then licensed by EMG The DE is cheaper than the cyma and in my opinion it's the one to buy as it's out of the box more compatible with other mws parts . While the DE costs about the same as a base line MWS it is about a third of the price of a TM MWS and Noveski reciever kit. I'm not a big fan of the MWS platform but I am tempted to getting the DE after trying all of the options head to head for a few days
  19. I don't think it's really designed for open day sites where they have to cater for the lowest common denominator. More for special events where blanks, pyro and ear defenders are standard . I think the immersion provided by these units would be ruined by the Spandex and hose pipes at most open days these days anyway. I do forget that to many airsofters there is only open day airsoft as they enjoy those and wander no further
