  1. yeah I'd totally trust my eyesight with a £3 bit of chinese plastic... no probs. ARE YOU MENTAL!?!
  2. In short... dogsh*t. Of the three that I ordered, two are EXTREMELY tight fitting, to the point where inserting a standard TM recoil mag is difficult (the cutout at the back catches on the pouch 'rim'), the other is absolutely spot on but one out of three aint cutting it for QC as far as I'm concerned! I'm hoping that with a bit of use they'll break in, if not I'll have to get the quick unpick out and re-do the stitching at the top to make the openings a smidge wider. Just a couple of mm is all it would take.
  3. just splurged a bit on one of these: http://www.ebairsoft.com/full-auto-tracer-silencer-tb631-p-6773.html - I've already got a TM tracer unit for my MP7, but it not being QD and not looking 'right' finally got to me, I was going to buy a dummy silencer and try to mod the TM internals to fit, but I'll try this one first! Also picked up an emerson MS2000 distress strobe dummy, hoping to use it as the basis for an 'innovative' (read batshit crazy, and probably doomed to failure) anti-fog solution for goggles/glasses.
  4. an excellent choice which I'm 100% sure you will not regret!
  5. Uk shipping isn't a problem, I have family over in the states who can forward things providing its legal to do so, thanks for the heads up. Sick of having china soft clone red dots die on top of my MP7 and the primary arms sight might just fit the bill!
  6. That is an extraordinarily pretty gun, what mount is that you've got the primary arms reddot on?
  7. bit of both really, I have a box full of standard double mag pouches and I find they're just a bit bulkier than I wanted since I only ever run one mag in each anyway. I have loads and loads of shingle type open top pouches too which while less bulky don't have lids and I like having lids to keep everything nice and protected. I can't foresee any situation in airsoft where I'll need all 6 spare mags I carry RIGHT NOW!!!! the three that live in the kangaroo pouch are rapid access enough! As for buying eagle stuff, if I had the money I would, but because they don't really *do* stuff for the civilian market it's almost all surplus SOCOM gear which carries a mega price premium just because someone may have been using it while they killed other people. Also, how do you find the PTS PMag style mags for recoil shock guns? I'm tempted to panic buy a few but I'm not sure!
  8. here I got this as a gift for you:
  9. These are the ones I've picked up: http://www.ur-tactical.com/index.php/component/virtuemart/view/productdetails/virtuemart_product_id/453/virtuemart_category_id/78 I was after something with a lid that would hold just one magazine securely instead of the standard double pouches, OPS and Eagle are the only 2 manufacturers I could find. Clearly I'm not going to buy Eagle stuff from the states because GOD DAMN that's expensive. Saying that though, buy cheap buy twice... if the OPS ones are rubbish it's back to the drawing board!
  10. bunch of single M4 mag pouches with lids from ur-tactical.com and some other bits and bobs; grimlok carabiners, shears, new radio pouch etc.
  11. if not I'm sure your scissors and curling tongs will!
  12. still trying to fix your AK ian? would have been cheaper to buy a new one by now surely?!
  13. Looks good, I'd cinch up the straps and wear that rig a little higher though, it's a chest rig not a belly rig!
  14. quoted for truth, people don't want to admit the orange moulded plastic heap they've just bought is garbage! I particularly like the way JBBG say that DE guns are of higher quality than marui ones because they have more metal!
  15. got the air con in my car re-gassed and serviced this morning. Oh my god, it's like driving a beautiful fridge full of happiness!
  16. certainly mightier than a sword!
  17. Real aimpoint and a high cap mag :-(
  18. Here we are; http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=5494&osCsid=91222785596cb139dcf8eae9a10875cc If you want a rock solid m4 that'll shoot for miles right out of the box there it is, on sale with a whopping £70 off!
  19. seconded, would remove the need for that lonely MBUS you've got up front there too!
  20. Pulse rifle has been done, you can buy a kit for the TM m1a1!
  21. did you try and buy the last chicken tikka pasty in greggs?
  22. oooh, going down the GBB route, let me know how it does for general skirmishing; I'm completely in love with my MP7 GBB but reticent to pick up a larger rifle for reasons unknown to even myself!
