Just bought a LBT 1961G replica in AOR2 from a-two tactical (had to go through facebook to buy them, was all very strange), got a couple of IR reflective US Flag patches and a Navy Seals logo patch to go with, should be the beginning of the end for my frogman inspired loadout.

Bought a SWAT VTG yesterday, was in London so me and a couple of mates got on the northern line and headed up to wolf armouries. Was wanting to get a bfg for a while and it was just there on the shelf looking pretty. That said I wouldn't recommend wolf armouries as a retail store, stay on the tube a little bit longer and go to pro airsoft supplies as its a much nicer store with much nicer people working there!

Finally found some Blue Force Gear MP7 mag pouches for sale on ebay, bought enough to carry six mags, leaves me room for expansion and means I'll be able to mount them on the outside of the bandolier/bag I'm making.

Payday spending spree, me, noooooo. Oh wait, yes. Bought a Pantac Molle EV Universal Chest rig from Airsoftsupplydrop.com bought a molle bottle holder to go with it too. Plan is to remove the straps, repurpose them so I can wear it as a sort of bandolier type thingy on my left hand side to carry mags/gas/bbs/snickers/pyro etc for a superlightweight CQB set up. It's got loads of PALS webbing on the inside and velcro too, so I'm kinda working at the moment on putting an LBT MP7 mag insert onto the velcro and using it as a sort of pouch within a pouch, at least until I can find a dealer for the BFG tenspeed MP7 pouches... then using the bag itself as a kinda handy dump pouch. We'll see... it might all end in failure. The water bottle holder is also getting attached to the inside and it'll be holding a gas bottle for handy refills in the field. Might add a utility pouch to the inside also to hold a bag of BBs, but I'll cross that particular bridge when I come to it. Also went to dragonsupplies.co.uk and bought a PALS strap sleeve/panel type job, it's for the bandolier plan detailed above, I figure I'm going to need some kind of 'quick access' pyro so that'll go on the strap across my front and have a smoke grenade pouch full of TLSFx goodies or if I ever get round to buying one, a blank firing grenade. Also for some maximum stylin' (I AM 'down with the kids, respect') I bought a Hazard4 embroidered baseball cap and a couple of shemaghs in various colours, along with putting in an order (no invoice yet, booooo) for a pair of AOR2 combat trousers and a boonie hat in the same pattern. If anyone could point me in the direction of a well priced (NOT TMC) 1961G chest rig to go with them I'd be eternally grateful!

my two newest babies: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Marui MP7A1 GBB (BEST GUN EVAR FOR CQB) and a Marui HK416D - as yet untested as I only got it this morning but the ROF for a stock gun on an 8.4v NiMh is staggering as is the trigger response in semi... so much so that I cannot get it to lock up in semi no matter how fast I pull the trigger!

The tango down style ones are really comfy too, though they're not the best lookers.

Ugh, yeah that foregrip is ugly! Looks uncomfortable too, I'd recommend one of those Gucci folding ones, can't remember the name but I'm sure you know what I mean. That eotech definitely looks the business up there though. I would probably have gone for something really small and low profile like an aimpoint T1 or maybe even a teeny tiny pistol sized red dot as a backup to the magnified one built into the handle but having seen it I think the eotech was definitely the right choice.

Broke my TM SCAR-L at the weekend by falling over and snapping the stock catch (SCAR-71 for those with a copy of the manual). Firesupport (legends!) are ordering me a new one but it could take 4 months or more to arrive in the UK. Long and short is I've had a moment of weakness and despite better reasoning I just bought the last Marui HK416D in the UK, mega excited! Also, will be selling a TM SCAR-L as soon as the replacement stock catch arrives.

for range, accuracy and kick I would recommend my TM 5-7 to anyone, it's simply awesome. However finding mag pouches for it is extremely frustrating, blackhawk do a serpa for it though so getting a holster is no great shakes.

it's just shy of 300fps on abbey ultra, high 290's. Range, considering the FPS is phenomenal, haven't measured it but it definitely shoots further than a stock G&G combat machine. mag pouches are a complete arse to get though, had to have them custom made in america.

The 5-7 is awesome, great range and a LOT of kick for a TM, lots of people have had problems running them on propane/ green gas so I've stuck to abbey ultra and it's never missed a beat. So much so that now when I'm playing CQB I don't bother with a rifle and just take the 5-7 with 3 mags.

Z-Tactical Sordins which when I'm wearing them plug into a Z-Tactical TEA PTT attached to an Intek MT5050. Eyepro is a pair of ESS Crossbow glasses, the ones with the thin arms for wearing under headsets. Shirt is an issue MTP UBACS (small, because I'm built for speed, not for comfort). Plate carrier is a Flyye repro of the LBT6094A with a triple 5.56 insert for the kangaroo pouch and a Warrior double M4 pouch on my off side. Belt is a Templar Assault Systems (TAS) molle belt in tan, can't be arsed changing it for multicam. (it's not loose, I'm standing funny) Pouches wise on the belt I have a double 5-7 mag pouch from thevestguy.com, a TAS roll-up dump pouch, a TAS rip-off medic pouch for various bits and bobs and a 5-7 Blackhawk Serpa on the CQC molle mount thingy. Trousers are issue MTP combats. Boots are issue gore tex combat boots. Gloves are Oakley SI assault gloves. The whole set up works nicely with whatever weapon I'm rocking since both my SCAR and M4 take the same mags and I only have the 5-7 as a pistol. Things I'm looking to add/change are: Plate carrier needs dummy plates - already ordered and winging their way from china as I type this. Trousers need replacing with some crye gen2/3s (repro obviously, I'm not spending 3 figures on trousers to play soldiers in the woods). Have a Rhino mount with j-arm being sent over from a friend in the states (ITAR LOLZ!!!) which I'm mounting a dipol D125 on for night vision fun. I'd like to put a surefire helmet light on the ops core, but I'm still umming and ahhhing about it, not sure I'd honestly get any use out of it, especially with the NVG on the way. Plate carrier needs a hydration pouch, if anyone can recommend a good one for a smaller bladder I'd really appreciate it. Reasoning behind smaller bladder being that I hate things overhanging from the bottom of the plate carrier and catching on the belt.
