  2. 6mm bearings, shims, sorbo pads, aimpoint, spray paint, primer and a metal file. (Around £30 spent!)
  3. Would a systema motor chew up my stock JG gears?

I think that Systema have purposely made the angle "off" so that you have to buy their gears to get proper engagement.

Though it could just be ICS gears that are off I guess.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Ended up not purchasing it, didn't want to deal with the pinion gear. Think I'll got for a Lonex motor, but cheers for the info Ed.

If you can,try find a Chaoli 22 TPA motor or JG blue 22TPA motor. Absolute torque monsters, and very cheap too.

  4. Anyone have any idea as to why my L96s' bolt isn't locking back when I cock it? I swapped the old trigger set to a new one then this problem accured.

Sear in the new trigger set is completely different to the old one! Just swapped them, I'll see if it works. (Should do)

Well that didn't do much, only difference now is there is a little bit of resistance when I bring the bolt back. I'll see what I can do. Thanks gents!

      Got the L96 working!

  5. £72? Really? BARGAIN! Good lord. Get that thing sold and get yourself a WE M4 and RA tech it up. Or something that doesn't use magazines that costs as much as a GBB pistol.
  6. £20? They look pretty good, most of my gloves are getting a bit tatty so I might purchase a pair. Give us an update on them after you've skirmished with them?
  7. Looks awesome. I'm still deciding whether to sell most of my gear and move over to MTP, though almost everyone at my local sites has a full MTP load out, so I kinda stand out a little bit with my DPM kit.
  8. Good choice of first gun. If you want to increase the FPS, you can either: Change the spring Add a tight bore barrel (will increase the fps a little bit) Bearing spring guide and piston head will increase the fps by 5 or less I think that sums it up.
  9. Might get some new gear. Cadpat or Multicam? I don't see Cadpat loadouts that much.

MultiCam is too mainstream! CADPAT would be cool since it is not very often you see it, and it will be more effective in woodland. Could be more expensive though, I haven't looked at the prices of pouches and things.

Cadpat's a little too light for a lot of UK woodland, I think Danish M83 would be more effective: http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/camouflagekit_danishm84.html

Yeah, Geoffreym lent me a pair at the NAE last year, one of the only set of lensed eye pro I've ever really got on with.

Have these on my kit list for the NAE this year.

  10. In airsoft they're not great at all. They're usable, yes, but very low capacity (6 or 24) compared to other gas pistols that can hold more rounds than that (plus you can get extended magazines for some models.) But if you really want an airsoft revolver to skirmish with, go with Tokyo Marui. Their revolvers hold 24 rounds, performance is ok, but the shells don't come out and the aesthetics feel a bit cheap. Reloading a revolver that uses shells can be incredibly annoying, the speed reloaders sort of help but the shells wobble around in the speed loader so you have to perfectly align the shells into the chambers. If you want aesthetics, Marushin's revolvers are gorgeous, but they're a little expensive. Sorry if I sounded negative.
  11. A short magazine for that gun doesn't exist (yet.)
  12. Can't you wire it to the inside of the buffer tube? M4 Looks gorgeous.
  13. I've noticed that when I post pictures on a thread, they come out very small. Is this because of the file being compressed while uploading?

  15. Saw the post too, I'm on the look out.
  16. I think Ed would murder me if he saw what I did to my L96.
  17. Anyone know how to adjust the hop up on a Well L96?

Should be a lever or something inside the magwell.

There's a little hole next to the mag release catch, you need the alan key that came with it I believe
