  1. The bren (believe it or not) has actually been done. http://www.shootandscoot.co.uk/shop/bren-mki/
  2. M4 died, bought another one. CA LWRC M6, happy days
  3. Fantastic review, I'm still a bit hesitant about ordering this because, well, it's a GBB made by VFC, and we all know how 'amazing' their GBB range is.
  4. I don't think you should get a pistol as your first gun. Go for an AEG, more specifically a Combat machine, you'll be happier with it.
  5. Up to you if you want a gun with metal aesthetics or Nylon aesthetics. Obviously metal will feel a lot more rugged, realistic and heavier than the nylon fiber, but the nylon fiber is a lot lighter but is still rugged enough to take a beating without anything snapping off. What's your budget?
  6. G&G Combat machines use extremely robust polymers for the externals.
  7. Cheap plastic AEG's will crack around certain weak spots over time. G&G Combat machines are an exception in this case. Where as metal AEG's don't have that problem,
  8. Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll have to get another bevel gear if I absolutely cannot get this bearing off. Shouldn't be expensive.
  9. About those bearings that I bought.. THEY DON'T FIT ON THE BEVEL GEAR. Oh well, bevel gear now has a bushing on one side and a bearing on the other.. It'll be fine.. I hope. (Couldn't get the other bearing off.)
  10. Also, JG G36's are pretty good too, so you can spend the money on other things if you wanted to.
  11. Have a look at G&G Mp5's, as for G36's, have a look at SRC Gen 2 or Gen 3 G36's.
  12. What gun do you like the look of?

    Wait, me or Del Monty?
  14. Could be worse, we could be spending millions on paintings!
  15. I'd rather not check how much I've spent on airsoft this year... I'd probably start crying and rolling on the floor.
  16. I'm guilty of this. I spent £16 on an admin pouch last month. AN ADMIN POUCH. I still can't justify why I bought it, lol.
  17. Hi!
  18. What's wrong with your SR25?
  19. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ad-classic-full-gearbox-for-a-k-sr-25-aeg.html#.U0MP-PldWSo
  20. 6mm bearings, shims, sorbo pads, aimpoint, spray paint, primer and a metal file. (Around £30 spent!)
  21. Would a systema motor chew up my stock JG gears?

I think that Systema have purposely made the angle "off" so that you have to buy their gears to get proper engagement.

Though it could just be ICS gears that are off I guess.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Ended up not purchasing it, didn't want to deal with the pinion gear. Think I'll got for a Lonex motor, but cheers for the info Ed.

If you can,try find a Chaoli 22 TPA motor or JG blue 22TPA motor. Absolute torque monsters, and very cheap too.

  22. Anyone have any idea as to why my L96s' bolt isn't locking back when I cock it? I swapped the old trigger set to a new one then this problem accured.

Sear in the new trigger set is completely different to the old one! Just swapped them, I'll see if it works. (Should do)

Well that didn't do much, only difference now is there is a little bit of resistance when I bring the bolt back. I'll see what I can do. Thanks gents!

      Got the L96 working!

  23. Did it get to you eventually?
  24. £72? Really? BARGAIN! Good lord. Get that thing sold and get yourself a WE M4 and RA tech it up. Or something that doesn't use magazines that costs as much as a GBB pistol.
