    I've noticed that when I post pictures on a thread, they come out very small. Is this because of the file being compressed while uploading?

      If you are attaching them through AFUK (where it says attach files at the bottom) it will be like that. If you're using a site to upload them and then copy the link to post full size pics, you should be able to choose the size you want.
