  1. Yeah, I know Web-tex gear pretty well - I've got an assault vest and hydration carrier by them. This pouch doesn't have their embroidered logo on it anywhere, or even one of those green panels like Remploy gear.
  2. Or to save money and have the 3 ppl send the right things to each other... but then again, you didn't receive a wrong item did you, Sam? I'm a prophet me. I foresee a paypal complaint in your near future...
  3. It's nothing about you personally, you've just become the straw that broke the camel's back, but that's it! For a tiddly gun I did quite like the TM MP7, but there's just too many people getting them... Edit: oops, forgot why I came here doh! Found something I can do without paying for this month so I just bought an Element M135 Spring and Madbull Shark Hop Rubbers (Black & Clear) for my SVD from gunfire.pl - €28.28 delivered.
  4. I just bought a photo of me @NAE13 for £5.60 - I had 4 to choose from: http://ckeventphotography.co.uk/p633925214/h68c88ec4#h68c88ec4 nos 187-190 but in the group shots we were 3 complete strangers Need to buy some new physical stuff in the wake of the weekend too, but i'm both too knackered to find the stuff and too skint to pay for it anyway.
  5. Starting to sound like this vertical excursion was more than a simple trip. Hope you didn't break yourself, UTJ?
  6. I'm open to commercial investment Couple of grand should see us onto Dragons' Den...
  7. It was my Oakley clone right that I blew up leaning on a BFG. Shredded but saved my hand from more than a scorch. Doubt the real McCoy would have done any better. Wouldn't be surprised if they're made in the same factory and the "clones" are just extra production the owners are making a sly profit on, on top of their contract with Oakley.
  8. The lower part, back plate and strap is the army surplus PLCE pouch, the cover on top is a bit I made to prevent the sun glinting off the hexi cooker. I don't know what it was issued for and, so far, nobody has told me they do either, but the consensus seems to be either for a battery or a radiation detector.
  9. What's your role, being a witness that the target was hit, just above the 31st hair above the collar on their neck, when they don't take it?
  10. PLCE Brew Kit Fits on duty belt, PLCE webbing, & molle. Holds Hexi Cooker & 1oz Tin Tin holds 4 brews' worth of makings.
  11. You're right, lads. I don't have the cash spare for a PSO right now though. I'm in negotiations for one, but I wanted a scope on there for GZ. I'm taking a 3-9 x 40 air rifle scope with me to NAE also, but this one has an illuminated reticle so I'm hoping its 4 x 32 will be enough for the job. I'm buggered for scope zeroing where I live though. 7.5m is max range I can shoot targets from. I've given her my standard "out the back room window over the neighbours' rooftops" test and the range is impressive, but I've only been able to test accuracy over the iron sights. I can hit a 1.5" wide aluminium TV aerial pole at about 40m maybe once in three shots, so although I'm not yet satisfied, I think I'm off to a good start with Svetlana as a project. The original butt plate was missing when I bought her - replaced with some kind of squidgy cushion floor stuff cut to shape and screwed/taped on. I've added a surface to it made from the palm of some cheapo goalie gloves so it sticks to my shoulder as I re-cock, so now it's easier to keep the rifle just about on target for subsequent shots. I'm planning to add some kind of spacer and RS butt plate in future because the stock isn't quite long enough for my comfort, especially in the prone position, so I dunno how long the goalie glove layer will last. I'm also planning on a wood body kit at some point, so I'm not sure how much effort is worth putting into what will hopefully be a temporary fix, but it will depend on how much money I can spare for her... because she needs the PSO scope for the look and an SVD bipod for practicality first.
  12. Looking good, James. My A&K Dragunov SVD project Svetlana: Rocking her RS sling. Needs a proper SVD one though - this AK sling doesn't give me enough options. Showing her extended cocking lever. She came to me with a horrible tan paint job over her two-tone green handguards, gas block, barrel, front sight, and flash hider. I don't have the time or money to do a proper camo job so I just added some Krylon black stripes to break up the background under the netting etc.
  13. Helmet looks cooler, but James is right - too hot for lenses. Get some mesh eyepro...
  14. I've got a DPM jacket that had been dyed black before I got it - it looks good. My experience with black dye is that it doesn't take half as well as i'd wished it would, but maybe it's better these days. I'm not sure that I put the right amount of salt in the water tho...
  15. Forgot to say it was from Airsoft Supply Drop. I wouldn't normally bother with high caps anymore, but my AK47 ones don't fit properly in my AKS74U and I want a massive one for backup at Ground Zero Weekend.
  16. Just bought a D-Boys 1000 rnds AK74 high cap mag - £16.35 inc 5% AF-UK discount and P&P

  20. I've meant to ask you for ages, Ed... what sort of tape is that on your bloody grip-pod?
  21. My nice new Skirmish patch... ...next to the place where I slashed an inch of the shirt with a seam ripper when I altered the angle of the velcro, doh! We've been asking for these patches ever since I've been airsofting, which is since a month after Skirmish Airsoft Mansfield opened - 18 months-ish. Finally! I like the choice of subdued colour - it isn't MTP or DPM but looks fine on either Next we have someone on here's great idea for keeping kneepads from slipping: "knee-loops" ...which work a treat. I only bothered with one loop on each leg, on the outside for the lower pad strap. I reasoned that holding the strap in place on the inside also/instead might make it dig in or become irritating. You cant see it on this photo but the loops have a backing made from folded bias binding for added strength. TBF I'm not sure they really need extra strength for their purpose, but it may well help if one gets caught on some undergrowth or random detritus. I highly recommend this trouser upgrade. Lets have it right, integral knee pads must move with the trouser leg so, unless the cut style is very tight legged, the pads can move to the sides and become less/non- usefull. Also integral knee pads are thinner, so can't offer as much shock protection during those commando rolls gone wrong and generalised dives which make airsofting so much of a laugh but hitching up even decent but slipping knee pads all day is a pain up the arse which nobody needs. Even my Hatch Centurion pads slip a little. I don't much like tight cut kecks anyway, but definitely not to wear skirmishing - it's a problem alright! Tadaa! No longer! Muahahahaa! 22. Ah, it's just that I thought I recognised Jabba The Hut, that's all
  23. CBeebies pup? Actually, it has got great features, but it's too small for G36 mags. Oops, what a cock! Wrong pouch This bugger still hasn't arrived, I was thinking of the OD drop leg dump pouch I bought too.
